Lilith Fair

Lilith Fair is a festival that began in 1997. It's lead by Sarah McLachlan and features many talented female artists from around the world. Acording to some beliefs Lilith was Adams first wife, Adam didn't treat her like an equal and he always put himself first because he thought that females were of lesser importance. Lilith didn't agree with his actions and didn't like the fact that she wasn't treated equaly bacause of the fact that she was a female, she left Adam in hope to be somewhere that she was apreciated just as equally as he was. Lilith fair is now a symbol for the celebration of women in music and the equality between both men and women.

I unfortunately was unable to attend Lilith Fair in '97, but was able to go in '98 and I hope that I'll be able to go this year.
