Young at Heart
Special Agent Scully's notes:
Ridley's notes from the human trials at N.I.H. indicate that he didn't see aging as inevitable, but as an opportunistic disease, a disease that could be prevented, reversed even, by changing the chemical cues that trigger certain genes. However, there is no evidence whatsoever that Ridley's work yielded any results, or that his theories, all hope to the contrary, hold any validity. According to the leading scientific journals, projections on this kind of genetic engineering are at best speculative and futuristic.
