Welcome to the Children's Society online. We've decided to try to get our voices heard this way. So, why did we put the Children's Society in Area 51 of GeoCities. So people that wouldn't normally stop by a page like this...would, well, stop by.

This page is set up to help find the Missing Children in Ohio. We're not saying kids from other states aren't important...ALL KIDS ARE IMPORTANT! What we are saying is that since we are based in Ohio, that that's where we're going to start.

It takes EVERYONE to bring the missing children home. Keep your eyes and ears open. Don't take for granted that it can't/won't happen to you...it could.
It's been said that it takes a village to raise a child...it also takes this same village to keep the children safe.

You can do your part in finding missing kids in several ways-and it doesn't matter where you live.
You can start by visiting the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and looking at the pictures of the kids.
You can set up a page on your site for missing kids from YOUR state with their pictures and information about them.
You can print a copy of the poster that the NCMEC has and tape it in places where there are alot of people (malls, grocery stores, gas stations, convenience stores, record stores, etc.).
If a family (or someone close to the family) has set up a fund to help find the child, you can donate to that.
You can donate your time to help look for the child. You can do this when you are out and about by looking around and seeing if you recognize any of the faces from the pictures you've seen.

There are tons of ways to help. Just imagine if it was YOUR child that was missing...wouldn't you want others to help you.

Now, please take the time to look at the pictures and see if you recognize any of the children and/or their abductors (if pictured). Please look carefully and read the information. Something that you might not think is important, could help lead to the child.

DAMIEN DILLON HAS BEEN RETURNED SAFELY TO HIS HOME!!! His father, Dean, is in jail and will hopefully remain there for some time. That's one "Angel" brought home...now, let's see how many more we can help.

The Children's Society has a message board. You can visit and add discuss just about anything you like as long as you realize that needs to kept "foul language" free.

You can also add a link to your page here as well. However, the requirement for this is that your site MUST be family oriented. If it's not, I will delete it. No child porn sites (or any porn sites for that matter), no sites with vulgar language, no sites with violence.
