Claire:
Name: Seashimmer Cowrie (This is not her birth name, but she has used it for most of her life)
Race: Dark elf, she passes as an elf to avoid being killed by the many that have no love for her people. The physical differences are not, once rumor is taken away, that great, and she is almost never identified.
Birthplace: Waveshore, a smallish dark elven settlement founded a few generations ago on the surface to produce food for the rest of the dark elven population. The area around it is deserted and fairly desolate; that the dark elves manage to produce anything at all from the land is amazing.
Clothing: Typically dressed in blue or white, with gold accents, and prefers more casual clothing, although she will dress up when appropriate. Her cloak, made of shimmering golden silk, seems to contain an unlimited amount of things in its pockets, as do her numerous sacks and pouches. She has a good, sturdy shield and armor for fending off attacks, but refuses to touch a weapon.
Appearance: Seashimmer is about 5' 10" in height, short for an elf but not unusually so. Her skin is extreamly pale, and burns easily, a trait inherited from generations of ancestors who never saw the sun. Her hair is a pale red, and her eyes a watery blue. She dresses in loose, comfortable clothing, usually in white or blue. She carries basically everything she owns, and it shows.
Age: In her 40s, but she could be 14 or 400 for all the elvish races show aging.
Special Powers/Skills: Seashimmer is a healer, or empath as her own people call it. Her talents do not extend to feeling emotions; only physical pain. Pain on others around her hurts as much and more as a similar injury on herself, although she does not feel from animals nearly as strongly as from elves, humans, and such. She has mage abilities probably somewhere around Master level, although the dark elves do not rank them as such. Her magic consists more of "spells" than of simply using the energy in a raw form. Her mindspeaking abilities are nil; she can neither project, nor recieve, although she does have natural shields. She will not use a weapon, nor any offensive magics, ever, and is unlikly to explain herself on this topic. She can speak common, elvish, and dark elvish. Her values, and definitions of good and evil, are those of the dark elves and perhaps a little different than those held by the rest of the world. She is not particularly fond of elves, but does not hate them either; indeed, the main reason for the constant war by the dark elves against the elven races is not hatred, but simply lack of food; very little can be grown in the underground tunnels of the dark elves and hunger is constant.

Muranog:
Name: Muranog Shadowbane
Nationality: Troll, from the city of Ironhold
Clothing: Normally elaborate white tunic and hose and purple cloak; when in battle, dons whitesteel plate armor and retains the purple cloak; carries a white sword, lance and shield(emblazoned with a huge black dragon)into battle.
Appearance: A tall and muscular troll, black stony skin (like a polished obsidian statue), green eyes, deep and powerful voice.
Age: Unknown, but probably at least two centuries old: appears ageless(at least to non-trolls).
Bond-mate: Sable
Special Powers/Skills: Adept-class Mage and Mage-Smith; strong Mindspeech and Empathy; weak Healing; natural troll gift of size-shifting from 10'(his normal height)down to a minimum of 5'; also an expert swordmaster and lancer.
Adept Manifestation: Black dragon

Name: Sable
Nationality: War Sheep from the Ferrile Valley outside Ironhold
Clothing: None normally, occasionally whitesteel barding and battle claws when in combat.
Appearance: Huge sheep(about elephant sized), black coat, black mane, deep purple eyes, and silvery hooves.
Age: Unknown
Bond-mate: Muranog Shadowbane
Special Powers/Skills: Mindspeech with Muranog, any other troll, and occasional other Mindspeakers.

Name: Stormwing
Nationality: Blue Dragon of Storm Clan in the Trollhome Mountains.
Appearance: Glossy dark blue wings and talons, deep sea blue head and back, paler blue underbelly, golden eyes, lightning-blue wingtips and tail
Age: Unspecified, somewhere between 600 and 900
Special Powers: Breathes lightning; some limited mage gift, mainly in healing, lightning, wind and weather magics; fairly powerful Mindspeaker
Close Friends: Muranog, Sable

Shadowdancer:
Name: Shadowdancer
Nationality: Human Elvish mix
Clothing: Usually wears worn, well-fitting leathers. Is capable of using almost any weapon, but prefers a longsword or long bow. Can wear most armor, but prefers leaf mail armor. Has had some assasin training. Always has a knife or two hidden somewhere on her person.
Appearance: 5'-9" Green eyes, that can look quite deadly. Brownish blond, shoulder length hair, fine bone structure with a muscular build.
Age: 26
Mind-mate: Lurker
Life-mate: Jonnran Weaponsbreaker
Special Powers/Skills: Mindspeech with all animals. Also can heal other's injuries surgicaly, and with her own limited self-healing powers.

Name: Lurker
Nationality: Large Gray Wolf
Appearance: Gray coat spring, summer, & fall. White coat in winter.
Age: Unknown
Mind-mate: Shadowdancer
Special Powers/Skills: Mindspeech with Shadowdancer. Mindspeech with others at great need. Can teleport himself for short distances when at a flat out run, when needed. (This takes a lot of energy for him to do and it takes a while for him to recover)

Name: Jonnran Weaponsbreaker
Nationality: Human
Clothing: He usually wears well worn, good fitting leathers.
Appearance: 6', Medium build, long, straight, dark brown hair; hazel eyes.
Age: 27
Life-mate: Shadowdancer
Mind-mate: Felicity
Special Powers/Skills: He is always taking things apart to see how they work. This means that he can pick locks and take apart traps. He can sing passably well, and is a statistician, as well as very well versed in strategy. (Hence his last name.) He will fight when he is really needed, but is better off in the back where he can asses the enemy, and analyze their attack. Limited mindspeech with bond-mate Felicity. Can usually figure out how mechanical things work in a relatively short amount of time.

Nationality: Hawk-eagle
Appearance: Brown feathers, with black wing tips, yellow eyes, and black head, talons, & beak.
Age: 2
Mind-mate: Jonnran Weaponsbreaker
Special Powers/Skills: Mindspeech with her Mind-mate, other winged creatures, Jonnran's life-mate Shadowdancer, and Lurker.

Sorchafyre:
Name: Sand
Trade: Bard
Appearance: Female, 5'6", Black waist length straight hair kept in small braids. When performing she will often adorn these with feathers, sparkling stones or chains.
