(1972-1977)  Father and son in central Los Angeles, own and run a junkyard.  What makes this one of my favorites is the give and take between father and son, the humor and the cast of extended family.   Produced by Norman Lear and Bud Yorkin.  Starring: Redd Foxx (Fred Sanford), Demond Wilson (Lamont Sanford), Whitman Mayo (Grady), and LaWanda Page (Aunt Esther). can be seen on the TVLand Channel

· Ironside 

(1967-1975)   A murder attempt on Robert Ironside, Chief of Detectives for the San Francisco Police Department, leaves him aralyzed and unable to continue as COD.  After getting his life back again Ironside get permission to serve as a citizen volunteer investigating criminal cases with the assistance of three protegees.    Created by: Collier Young.  Executive Producer: Cy Chermak.  Starring: Raymond Burr (Chief Robert Ironside); Barbara Anderson (Officer Eve Whitfield); Don Galloway (Det. Sgt. Ed Brown); Don Mitchell (Mark Sanger) and Elizabeth Baur (Fran Belding). 

· I Spy

(1965-1968)   A pair of American agents face espionage adventures with skill, humor and some serious questions about their work. Robinson's cover is as a former Princeton law student and Davis Cup tennis player; Rhodes scholar Scott is his trainer as well as being a language expert. Summary written by Ed Stephan.  Executive Producer: Sheldon Leonard.  A Three F/NBC production.  Starring: Robert Culp (Kelly Robinson) and Bill Cosby (Alexander Scott). 

· Mysterious Ways (MW)

(2000-2002)  Professor of Anthropology, Declan Dunn strives to uncover  mysteries and miracles.  Driven by an unexplained occurrence of his own, Declan weekly investigates the unproven.  Helping him are his research assistant Miranda and new friend psychiatrist Peggy Fowler, who has doubts of her own.   Executive producers: Peter O'Fallon & Carl Bidner.   A Lions Gate TV/NBC-PAX production.  Starring: Adrian Pasdar (Declan Dunn), Rae Dawn Chong (Peggy Fowler) and Alisen Dawn (Miranda).
