The Sandman
I anxiously await the night,
When dreams shall bring him near.
Imagination will take flight,
And bring my darling here.

The darkling clouds of loneliness
Shall blow on out to sea...
To be replaced with happiness
That he will give to me.

he'll lift the shroud from on my soul
And kiss my tears away...
With healing words, he'll make me whole
As side be side we'll lay.

Then tenderly I'll kiss his face
By passion's firelight...
I'll take him in my warm embrace,
Our bodies will unite.

We'll make sweet love until the dawn
Desire, for to sate...
I'll waken then to find him gone...
Another day to wait.

I shiver with sheer ectasy,

When it is darkness that I taste

Then dusk turns to dawn,

And the devil is to blame,

For night time in my daytime

And Vampire is my name..

Mere serenity, essence of peace

Shimmering flicker of candle light

Desire of life, shall never cease

Lost innocence, lust to bite

Never aged-yet never young

Dawn approacheth, remain from sight

Those taken shall go unsung.

From Afar
You can make the darkness light,
Because you make the sun burn bright.
You can make the tides rise and fall,
And you can always hear me call.
You can make the world go 'round,
And shake all that's bad to the ground.
You can make this world seem vast,
You always know the perfect spell to cast.
Or maybe you'd like to keep things small,
And make this a glorious world for one and all
By just staying who you are,
And let us love you from afar.
To come so close to your magnificence
Would surely be complete and total bliss.
Though I can say I still feel it now.
Even as I ask the question how,
The answer comes back by way of the stars in the sky:
You've left an impression on my soul that can never die.
They hunt you,
Dogs sniff for your undead flesh,
Wanting to rip through your veins
Draining you of what lets you live

Pale necks of beautiful maidens
Hair falling in curly-Q's down their backs,
Enticing your Thirst for life
Yearning for the liquid of mortality.

Sink your teeth in...
Suck deeply and swallow,
Lick your lips,
Roll your eyes back

...Like Extasy...

Blood Trickles down like ink
Dark...thick
Unseen in the darkness of your day...
The emptiness of their night...

They Hate you..They fear you
...they don't understand you...
They won't quit till theyv'e killed you
...Those men with the eagerness of Boys...

So when the spilt ink of night
Spreads o'er the blotting pad of light
Lads whose job is still to do...
Shall whet their knifes, & think of you
