The History of Althawein

I'm still working on this part, but if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, E-mail them to me.

The Eldar fell, and the Craftworlds were launched.  Slaanesh ate a lot of souls.  But you already knew all that, right?  Among these Craftworlds were those of Biel-Tan and Alaitoc, as well as Althawein,
which was the second-last Craftworld launched.  The Eldar of Althawein were just as all Eldar of the period were:  anxious and paranoid about the coming of Slaanesh.  After the Aspect shrines were founded on Althawein, weapons production began double timing it.  Only a few Eldar were recruited as Aspect Warriors when the invasions began.  First was a wave of Imperial scout vessels.  Then came the big and dumb, but powerful Orks.  After a brief resting period of about a hundred years, the Tyranids started wanting Althawein out of the way.  Due to being under this constant bombardment of starship fire and shock troop invasion, the people of longtime ally Biel-Tan and nearby Alaitoc came to the help of Althawein.  With three combined forces, all of the attackers ware eventually driven off.  Althawein had made its presence known.  But, after eight generations, Chaos was silently preparing to storm the Craftworld.  They attacked the Eldar, and ravaged the once-mighty Craftworld.  A telepathic message was sent to the two allies of Althawein's by a powerful Warlock.  That Warlock hid from the invading Traitor Space Marines until large forces were sent from Biel-Tan and Alaitoc.  These two forces were strong, and after ten years of fighting aboard the giant starship, Chaos was driven off forever.  The Eldar which had retaken Althawein felt that they had let their comrades down, and decided to stay and rebuild the Craftworld, and make Althawein their home.  Of all the original inhabitants, all died but that single Warlock, who is now Chief Farseer Geldan Alshei, who has sworn never to let any Eldar from his Craftworld die at the hands of Chaos again.

Althawein's Craftworld colors are primarily blue and black, with highlights of red and green.  The black is for mourning, the blue is the Eldar color of rebirth (I guess, unless you know otherwise...), red represents the blood that will be spilled to regain the Eldar's position in the galaxy, and green just looks cool.  Wait until I get the gallery up and running....

Guardians wear blue armour and black helmets, with their squads designated by the color of their shoulder-pads (right now I have blue, green, orange, and white).  Aspect Warriors wear the colors of their respective shrines.  Vehicle crewmen wear the normal Guardian colors covered by light blue-grey (Shadow Grey) flight jackets.  Seers wear dark blue cloaks with black helmets, and many colorful runes and such.

The symbol for the Craftworld is a heart (taken from Biel-Tan's symbol) with a sword (from Alaitoc) running through it.  Imagine Alaitoc's symbol with the heart in place of the half-moon looking thing. 1
