Wow vist har jag en underbar engelska..... men snälla söta ni, jag bryr mig inte om vad folk tycker om min engelska. Varför skulle det vara pinsamt?? Intressant sida. Ta inte i från tårna bara. Det är väldigt svårt att täcka in all nordisk folktro i ett skolarbete. Men det är ett bra ämne om man inte vill att läraren ska kontrollera fakta. Alla säger ju ändå olika. Tomtar har som regel grå mössor i Sverige (om det inte är jul då har de röda kläder, stort skägg och sitter på cocacola-burkar). Gå inte ner dig i got-träsket stumpan, det är så tråkigt där. Har du visat ditt arbete för din engelsk-lärare förresten. Gör inte det, då får du gå i en vanlig skola igen. Puss och kra

Hi, your homepage is amusing and full of creativity. I have also studied the medievial popluar beliefs for the area north of Malaren, where from my family originates. I also found that many of the beings were mentioned by other names. Like, e.g. 'Nacken' as also called 'Stromkarlen' or 'Dragdockan', as he pushed the water wheels of the forges down by the river. I did my research at the 'Uppsala institut for medeltida sprak och namn'. They are located at 'Landsarkivet' in Uppsala and have collected words, tories, fairy tales and names, the latter goes back to viking age.. It is open for public and there is no charge for you going there and do research. However, it's proper to know how to read old handscript in many cases (but that's not so difficult). Have you ever read originally written documents from the Middle ages? Wow, it's amusing to see the style of the language and how and what they wrote... really beautiful... Anyway, here in England I read Havamal the first time in modern English, pretty beautifully written, actually... 'Young and alone on a long road, Once I lost my way: Rich I felt when I found another; Man delights in man,' but I prefer the older translation from the last century. I have written poems myself but they are secret, so far...(he he) Anyway, your poems are nice, and your English too. You have achieved a lot with your homepage. So, study hard and you may attend university and reach the limits of human knowledge and creativity. I have now studied at seven years at hogskolor and universities, and I am still a student...
