"Do you want to talk about this or not?"
He looked up at Sally, charcoal eyes meeting light blue ones,
"There is nothing to talk about." He said in a tone that was meant to put an end to any possible conversation.
Sally merely rolled her eyes, being used to her partners' unwillingness to open up, "Wufei, you practically bit my head off a few minutes ago and I think you owe me some sort of explanation if not an apology."
"Apology," he snorted "and what would I have to apologize for. I only stated the truth, you are inexperienced with magic and do not realize the dangers it presents."
Sally fumed at his response, sure she had made her previous statement in hopes of drawing a response from him but she hadn't expected him to treat her this way. It had been years since he had last treated her as anything but an equal, since he realized that she wasn't a 'weak onna', however it seemed that the latest developments had changed his view of her.
"How would you know? Up till a few minutes ago you didn't even know I was using magic, much less what knowledge I possess of the craft." she nearly hissed at him.
Wufei raised his voice above her own "If you knew anything of magic you would realize that you can't just use it, you need to be trained..."
Sally cut him off before he could finish, "I have been trained".
Her statement caught his attention immediately and he arched one eyebrow in response "by who?" he questioned.
Sally visibly blanched at the question and a horrified expression replaced the angry one that had previously been on her face. "I... I can't tell..." she stuttered. Wufei glared at her before walking out of the room in a rage. "I'm sorry Wufei, but it's just not my place to tell" Sally whispered to the empty room. She stood silently in the empty room a few moments longer before she decided to follow the others example and headed to her room and soon fell asleep in the comfort of her bed.

"Soooooo, Trowa, can you really turn into any animal?" Duo asked as the group made their way out of the study, his only response was a nod.
"Like even the really small ones or the big ones?" He asked as he followed Trowa and Quatre as they made their way to their room, once again the only answer he got was a nod from his friend.
Duo paused in step, as he seemed to consider this for a few moments but soon went to catch up with the couple. "So what about mice, can you turn into a mouse?" Trowa once again nodded in reply.
"Well then, what about an elephant?" and again he received a nod in response.
Duo continued with this line of questioning until they reached the room that Quatre and Trowa were to spend the night in, "well if you can do animals can you do bugs and stuff too?" he asked as his friends entered their room. Quatre chuckled slightly as Trowa gave him a pleading look, they both knew that this line of questioning could go on all night if it wasn't stopped now.
"Listen Duo, it's getting pretty late and I'm sure we're all tired so how about you go to bed and I'm sure Trowa can give you a demonstration tomorrow or something."
Duo seemed to consider this for a few minutes before his eyes lit up with joy and he agreed, "Well good night then Quatre, Trowa." he said before racing down the hall to find out where Hilde had gone to.
Quatre chuckled once more before closing the door as he saw Duo nearly collide with Wufei in the hallway.
"You know of all the people he could have been pestering tonight I don't know why he had to choose me." Trowa said from across the room, where he was getting ready to go to bed.
"Well I can't say I blame him really, it is an interesting subject" Quatre replied "besides we should count ourselves lucky that we're not sharing a room with him, I can't even imagine what poor miss Hilde will be going through tonight."
Trowa smiled at the comment and then slipped underneath the beds blankets. Quatre soon joined him and they both fell quickly asleep.

Hilde had been the last one out of the study, she had seen Duo take off with Quatre and Trowa asking poor Trowa a thousand and one questions. She smiled and shook her head slightly before her doubts came crashing down on her once again and she made her way to the room Duo and her were meant to share.
'What am I going to do' she thought 'I feel horrible for having kept this from him but it's even worse now. He's probably going to be asking questions that I can't give him the answer to. Hell that should be the least of my worries, Relena's gone and Heero's nowhere to be found and I'm not sure where everyone else stands right now. Wufei's obviously pissed at Sally and vise versa. Zech's seems more agitated for some reason and what exactly is he doing here in the first place, last I heard him and Noin were supposed to be on Mars. Then there's Duo, who knows how he actually feels about all of this.' Hilde sighed 'Well at least Quatre and Trowa seem to be doing ok with all of this. But now that everything's out in the open what's going to happen?' "I guess we'll just have to wait and see" she said aloud.
"Wait and see what babe?" Hilde turned around to see Duo leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed, staring at her.
"I just...I...I guess I just don't know what to make of everything right now" She answered as she slumped down on the bed.
Duo pushed away from the door and sat down next to her "Hey don't worry about it babe, we'll figure everything out in the morning k?" he said as he wrapped his arms around her slim waist pulling her up against him.
Hilde sighed contentedly, "Soo..." she said nervously, involuntarily become tense in his arms "you want to talk about ummmm...well what was said tonight, I mean do you have any questions or anything...."
Duo tightened his embrace before kissing her on her temple "yeah, but nothing that can't wait, you'll tell me everything when your ready to. Right now lets just go to bed."
Hilde smiled up at him before they both lay down for a good nights sleep. 'It's amazing' she thought 'how he can act like such a child one moment and be so understanding and perceptive the next' a small smile reached her lips once more before she fell asleep.

Noin looked over at her husband, he'd been lying in bed for a while now and he still looked furious. "Zechs, you know there's nothing to be done about it. Relena can take care of herself and Heero wouldn't dream of hurting her."
Zechs looked over at his wife, she was right of course. He sighed, "I know, but it still doesn't mean I have to be happy about it. It's not just the fact that she's my little sister, but now that we know what Heero is I just can't seem to get around the fact that he might be the one"
"And what if he is. There's nothing we could do about it, it's something that Relena has to face on her own, all we can do is guide her and help her along the way. But the final choice will be hers alone to make, and no one, not even you can change that."
"I know, it's just" Zechs looked over at Noin who seemed to be giving him a pleading look and then sighed and wrapped his arms around her "God help us if he is the one." he whispered.
"I know" she replied. They were both quiet after that and eventually fell asleep.

Wufei stood silently on the balcony of his room looking up and gazing at the stars, he had just heard the last of the houseguests turn in. He'd been standing in the cool night air for the past half hour letting his anger and negative energy out as he practiced his katas and now that he was calm he could think of things clearly.
'I shouldn't have gotten so angry at her, she's never been careless in anything she's done so why should I think that she would be with magic.' He sighed, he'd just admitted to himself that he had been wrong and what was worse was that it wasn't the first time where she was concerned. He'd apologize if it weren't so out of character for him. So instead he decided that he'd ask her to have a session with him tomorrow. That way he'd be able to see what she could do and help her out if she needed, it'd be his way of declaring a truce and she'd know it. Wufei gave the stars one last lingering look before stepping back into his room and slipping underneath his bed covers and dozing off.

Meanwhile, as the guests of the Peacecraft Mansion had just headed for bed to enjoy a night of sleep the sun was just about to rise in Northern Ontario.
Heero stood, blankly staring at the laughing figure before him. The burning fire reflecting off her hair now gave the ebony black hair the appearance of being a dark blood red color. How could this possibly be her, how could it be Relena? How were they able to get past the others, how could they get passed Duo? Heero's mind was flooded with questions he could not answer. But one thing he knew for certain was that whether or not that was Relena standing in front of him she wasn't human. She was changed. A vampire, she wasn't truly Relena anymore. Heero's blood boiled at the thought that they could turn his white dove into a black raven.
The woman before him seemed to sense his rage and her laughter doubled with happiness, knowing that he was so angry.
"Ah, my poor Heero. Did you actually think that I could be kept away from you so easily? You seem to forget that even the war didn't succeed in doing so. What difference did you expect your friends to make?" She said as she slowly made her way towards him. Once close enough she pressed her body against his, sending his every nerve ending ablaze, and then looked up into his eyes "Aren't you happy Heero? Nothing can keep us apart anymore," she said as her fingers started to draw lazy patterns on his chest and then she leaned up so that her lips bushed against his ear, the feel of her breath sending tingles down his spine "not even death." she whispered.
The words brought him back to reality, and he abruptly pushed her away from him. "No, your not her anymore, you've changed, I..." Heero was at a loss, despite everything he had gone through in the war and all he had done to keep her safe it still wasn't enough, in the end he failed her and now all that was left of the woman he loved was a dead cell and the demon inside.
"Get out." he whispered hoarsely.
"Excuse me?" surely, she thought, she had misunderstood, he couldn't possibly be asking her to leave.
"I said get out" he said a little more forcefully, yet she just stood before him, anger finally getting the better of him he yelled at her "I SAID GET OUT, NOW!"
She looked at him for a few more moments before storming out of the room and slamming the door behind her.
AN: So what do you think, was it too confusing? I hit a block with this chapter and I'm still not overly pleased with the way it turned out. The funny thing is, I think this is the longest chapter I've written so far. Oh well, hopefully the next chapter will turn out better. Until then though, thanks for reading and don't forget to REVIEW!!!!
