Have you ever been hurt? really hurt? By the one you love most in the world? Have you ever tried to run away from all that heartbreak? Have you ever found yourself lost and driving round in circles? ALEX HUNTER has. No one on the road exept a black and white cat which must surely be a stray. Lost and going round in circles in the rain, he ends up swerveing to miss a woman in the road. Was she there a moment ago? Not even Alex can sayas he crashes into her and looses consciousness..... He awakes in a nice B&B in the small village of Strangehaven, is checked out by the local doctor, and is told there was no woman in the road, That he was found, with his car, crashed into a tree.

While Alex is recovering from his injuries , in another part of the village there is a special meeting going on at the old lodge. The KNIGHTS OF THE GOLDEN DAWN are anxious. Is the stranger in the village a threat to them? They decide to watch him carefully.

When Alex is back on his feet, JANEY the doctor's secretary, Who seems to have taken a bit of a shine to him, gives him a bit of a guided tour, meeting all the locals including the mechanic, ALBERTO BONETTI, who has already fixed Alex's Car Janey's younger brother CHIPPY and the ex-Mehimaku Shaman, Megeron.

But Alex Soon feels the need to get back home and "Clear a few things up." Janey gives him directions, But Alex is still driving round and round in circles and finally ending his journy back in the village of Strangehaven.
