JANEY is moping about when ALEX drives past and informs her that he plans to stay a bit longer, Janey's still sweet on him so she starts trying to talk him in to staying permanently. They go to the local pub, THE MINOTAUR, to celibrate where Alex meets more of the locals, including Janey's best friend, SUZIE TANG and the ADAM DOUGLAS the self styled "alien."

Elsewhere in the village, CHIPPY is putting up some shelves for MEGARON. When they stop for tea Megaron enchants Chippy with more tales from the past of his people, relctantly informing him of his status as a Shaman but brushing over his reasons for leaving the tribe by pointing out Suzie returning from the woods with PETER WEBB. Illicit love....Megaron muses.

At the lodge THE KNIGHTS OF THE GOLDEN DAWN are initiating a new member. As night falls Alex walks Janey home and they meet a local who Alex has met before, HITCHCOCK the Cat Who Alex saw on the road before he crashed. Hitchcock wanders off and jumps through a window to a house where we see, in a fish tank,the naked and decomposing form of the woman Alex saw as he crashed his car.
