How Long Is Slow

You say you want to take your time,

okay So i try to keep myself under control,

but it gets harder each day So i'd like to know,

how long is slow

Cause i was wondering,

how much longer do i have to go

Do i have to wait till i'm an old man

Just to get to hold your hand

Do you have to be freezing cold and with the flu

Before my arms get to reach out and hold you

Does there have to be something amiss

Before your sweet lips i get to kiss

I mean i respect you, really i do

But don't you see, i love you too

Am i doing everything all wrong

Should i instead, be singing you a song

So i'll ask you again, how long is slow

How much longer do we have to go
