Origin: The Legacy of the Flashes is long running (sorry bad pun) the first Flash was Jay Garrick, the second was Barry Allen, the current Flash's name is Wally West. When he was younger Wally idolized The Flash, he had T-Shirt's and his room was decorated with Flash memorabilia. His aunt Iris was dating a man Named Barry Allen (who unknown to her was the Flash) and offered Wally a chance to meet the Flash through Barry. When Wally arrived at the Lab where he was to meet The Flash, a bolt of lightning struck a chemical shelf and Wally. Wally recieved the same powers as the Flash and soon became his sidekick, Kid Flash. A few years later Barry Allen sacrificed his life to save Earth from the Anti-Monitor. Wally took over the role of the Flash and has been doing it since.
