King Eric Presents.....

This is a list of the 25 toughest heroes (in my opinion). There are no dead characters or any omnipotent (get a dictionary) people like Adam Worlock with the infinity gauntlet. Enjoy!

25. Wolverine

Powers:

Born with a mutant healing ability, Wolverine is suspected to have been around for hundreds of years learning differant forms of martial arts and differant fighting techniques. He became part of a goverment project in which he recieved an unbreakable Adamantium skeleton and claws.

24. The Thing

Powers:

The Thing has super, super strength and nigh invunerability (because of his rock skin).

VS. Wolverine:

The Thing is much to strong for little Wolvie, one hit Wolverine goes down.

23. Pheonix

Powers:

Pheonix has the mutant ability to enter other peoples minds as well a move things with the power of her mind. (Telepathy and Telekinesesis).

VS. Wolverine:

She would see him coming from a mile away and she would telepathicly force him to pass out.

VS. The Thing:

Same as Wolvie she'd just make the Thing pass out.

22. Iron Man

Powers:

No powers in the man himself, but he uses a suit of armor the greatly inhances his strength and alows him to fly. The suit also contains a wide array of weapons.

VS. Pheonix:

Plain and simple, Iron Man has telepathic dampers in his helmet.

VS. The Thing:

Iron Man wouldn't stand there and go punch for punch with the Thing, He'd probally beat him down with a series of repulser rays and gas.

VS. Wolverine:

He Wouldn't let Wolvie get close enough to him in order to cut him. He'd play keep away with Wolvie using repulsor rays.

21. Starman

Powers:

Uses the Cosmic rod, which enables flight, can fire energy blast and can make inpenetrable force sheilds.

VS. Iron Man:

Starman would simply blast Iron Man's armor all to hell using the energy blast at the same time he was repelling him with the force field.

VS. Pheonix:

The Cosmic rod's force sheild also disables telepathic attacks, sorry Jean.

VS. The Thing:

Veeeerrrry cut and dry, Starman blasts Thing straight to Kingdom Come.

VS. Wolverine:

Starman's never faced anything like Wolvie before and his inexpirience would almost be his down fall, But not even Wolvies claws can cut through Starman's sheild. He simply flies up and blasts Logan into submission (after hours and hours of blasting).

20. Invisible Woman

Powers:

Has ability to build invisible force sheilds and other objects, she can make invisible things visible and vise-versa.

VS. Starman:

It all boils down to expiriance, Starman can't fight what he can't see.

VS. Iron Man:

Although Iron Man has infared he still wouldn't think of that untill Sue has already belted him with everything in her arsenal.

VS. Pheonix:

By the time Jean even realized she was there IW would have already plowed her ass clean out.

VS. The Thing:

She Would just put a bubble around his head and turn invisible. Thing would pass out eventually.

VS. Wolverine:

Although Wolvie could smell her a mile away, He could not do this without air to inhale and exhale. IW eventually puts Wolvie outta the fight.

19. Captain Marvel

Powers:

Wisdom of Solomon, Strength of Hecules, Courage of Achillies, Power of Zeus, Stamina of Atlas and the Speed of Mercury, all given to him by the wizard SHAZAM!.

VS. Invisible Woman:

CM can take an atom bomb to the chest and still live, so what makes you think the invisible Woman can even land a hit before he finds her at Mach 1 and K.O.s her.

VS. Starman:

This fight already happened in Starman #40, CM kicked his ass.

VS. Iron Man:

Captain Marvel kicks his ass flat out, Iron Man tries to fight but CM is just to powerful.

VS. Pheonix:

This one would be tough considering the fact that Jean could knock his ass out from a mile away, but CM would use the speed of Mercury to subdue her.

VS. Thing:

CM could really kick Things ass, hard, he's much to fast to lose to the Thing. Thing wouldn't even land a hit.

18. Martian Manhunter

Powers:

Has super strength, stamina, speed and senses. Also can shapeshift into nearly anyone and also has telepathy. He has one bad weakness though, fire. A key element in almost all battles.

VS. Captain Marvel:

Although Cap may wield more power, but MM has a.) Experiance, b.) Telepathy and c.) shapeshifting, there are a number of ways that J'onn could defeat CM, since he knows that Billy Batson is CM he would telepathicly force him to say SHAZAM! and revert back into Billy Batson the child.

VS. Invisible Woman:

MM would simply take an image from her mind and become that person, Sue would be confused and he could K.O. her verrry easily.

VS. Starman:

J'onn could simply break Ted Knight's telepathic link with the Cosmic Rod and k.o. him.

VS. Iron Man:

J'onn would simply beat the crap out of ol' Tony, and since Tony doesn't know J'onn, he wouldn't know to use fire, he'd never get the chance to try.

VS. Pheonix:

Although Jean is a powerful telepath, J'onn is More powerful, he just shuts her down.

17. Scarlet Witch

Powers:

Born with the natural ability of sorcery, she is a near master of the mystic arts.

VS. Martian Manhunter:

After she "sensed" how powerful he was she would simply put him into a bubble and let him float away into space.

VS. Captian Marvel:

She would use a spell like, make it so CM is a really old man or even make CM a baby, either way CM is to stupid to beat SW.

VS. Invisible Woman:

These two know each other so when Sue turned invisible, SW would call upon the Crimson Bands of Cytorak to incase the area and eventually find the Invisible Woman.

VS. Starman:

As cool as I think Starman is, I'd still have to say when he went up, She'd disable the flight on the Cosmic Rod and send him plummeting to the earth.

VS. Iron Man:

She knows Iron Man very well because of their work together on the Avengers. She would turn his armor into lead and send him packing.

16. Zauriel

Powers:

Can fly at the speed of sound using giant angel wings, super senses, strength, stamina and a mean-ass sonic scream. Also uses a flaming sword and a near invunerable suit of light armor.

VS. Scarlet Witch:

SW would try in vain to put a spell on Zauriel but he is an agent of Heaven which is far out of her league.

VS. Martian Manhunter:

Not even a fight here, Zauriel has a friggin' flaming sword, no contest.

VS. Captain Marvel:

A near match in phisical strength, but Zauriel would bust his eardrums with the sonic scream and then start taking chunks out of him with the flaming sword, crude but effective.

VS. Invisible Woman:

After she turned invisible it would be simple for Zauriel to hear her, find her and k.o. her.

VS. Starman:

this would be a good fight but I still have to tip my hat to Zauriel, he has been in more battles then anyone on Earth.

15. Orion

Powers:

Super strength, speed and regeneration, also extremly good with almost any kind of weapon he gets his hands on.

VS. Zauriel:

As soon as Zauriel got close enough Orion would start wailing on him, hard. Since Orion can jump high it would be very easy.

VS. Scarlet Witch:

Orion pulls out a laser pistol so fast it makes SW's head spin.

VS. Martian Manhunter:

MM wouldn't try to go fist to cuffs with Orion, because he knows just how tough Orion is but Orion would do his Damndest to start a fire, which he would suceed in doing.

VS. Captain Marvel:

A serious battle, this one would take a long time to finish but in the end you have the child and the blood hardened warrior, Orion beats him just in time to collapse.

VS. Invisible Woman:

Simple, Orion would sniff her out and give her the choke slam, they don't call him the dog of war for nothing.

14. Green Lantern

Powers:

Kyle Rayner wields the most powerful weapon in the universe, the Green power ring can create any object it's wearer can think of, but if the user losses concentration, the object disapears.

VS. Orion:

One thing Orion does on a regular basis is underestimate his opponents, although Kyle is still gaining experiance, all he'd have to do is trap Orion in a collapsing green bubble and Orion would eventually suffocate.

VS. Zauriel:

Although Zauriel is cool, Kyle would still kick his ass, hard, with a giant robot or something.

VS. Scarlett Witch:

GL would simply take off the ring and look like a civilian and when she didn't expect it BANG, he knocks her out.

VS. Martian Manhunter:

Green flame is still hot, and may be artifical, but MM weakness to fire is psycological, not physical.

VS. Captain Marvel:

Although CM is more powerful, Kyle has the ability to defeat him, he'd hide in a force bubble and pummble CM with a series of attacks.

13. Aquaman

Powers:

Super strength, nigh invunerable skin, telepathy, excellent fighting skill, left hand was replaced by a cyberneticly controled hook. Has super enhanced senses.

VS. Green Lantern:

Aquaman knows alot about Kyle but Kyle knows very little about Aquaman. The battle would be short and sweet, Aquaman would shut Kyle down telepathicly.

VS. Orion:

This would probally be the best battle on this list, both warriors, one mellow, the other thirsty for battle. Hitting Aquaman is like hitting a marble slab, hitting Orion is like hitting a three foot thick piece of wood. Aquaman can take more of a beating, plain and simple, Orion is a better fighter, Aquaman is smarter, both men respect each other alot, both men hardened by a lifetime of battle. It all burns down to Aquaman shutting Orion down telepathicly, but Arthur wouldn't stay up for long after.

VS. Zauriel:

It all comes down to strength, both equal in physical strength, Aquaman couldn't shut him down telepathicly. So the fight goes to the most brutal, Aquaman.

VS. Scarlet Witch:

Aquaman can take more of a beating than SW can hand out and still shut her ass down with a mind bolt.

VS. Martian Manhunter:

Equal in physical strength, Aquaman can block any telepathic attack J'onn can lay down and he can also take and physical attack J'onn can lay down. But Aquaman knows J'onn's weakness, fire. Getting that fire, therein lies the challenge. Aquaman can locate underground liquids, including gas mains. He'd smash the ground open and cause a spark setting the whole street ablaze. Aquaman downs him and pounds the crap out of him.

12. Hulk

Powers:

The strongest hero in comics, extreme stamina and very intelligent.

VS. Aquaman:

Aquaman ussually attacks unknown opponents hand to hook, Aquaman lands the first couple of hits but Hulk lands the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th even Aquaman's super dense skin can't take that kind of punishment.

VS. Green lantern:

GL lands the first couple of hits on the jade giant but when the Hulk gets in a hit GL goes down, permenently.

VS. Orion:

An interesting fight, yet a short one, Orion pounds Hulk for about thirty seconds, but when Hulkie lands a hit, he doesn't stop hitting.

VS. Zauriel:

All the attacks Zauriel tries roll right off of Hulk when Hulk lands a hit the fight ends.

VS. Scarlet Witch:

She unleashes almost all of her barrier attacks before the Hulk reaches her and k.o.s her.

11. Savage Dragon

Powers:

Super Strength, enhanced speed, excellent marksmanship, Black belt in Tae Kwon Doe, super stamina and regeneration/super healing.

VS. Hulk:

This fight would be long and violent, Dragon would start off shooting Hulk in the eyes, and then unleashing an attack that would stagger God himself. Hulk's eyes finally heal but by then it's too late, Dragon is on a roll and won't stop. Hulk punches Dragon and he flies a quarter mile into a building. By the time Hulk reaches him Dragon is all over him again, doing flips and bobbing and weaving. At the end Dragon's hands start breaking from hitting Hulk so hard. Hulk lands a hit out of Dragons seven punches. Eventually Hulk goes down and Dragon goes to the hospital.

VS. Aquaman:

Just like the Hulk fight Aquaman would attempt to be clean and fair, but that's not Dragon's style at all, He'd be as dirty as possible and eventually win the fight.

VS. Green Lantern:

Although GL would land the first hits, Dragon would only need to land one.

VS. Orion:

Both excellent fighters, Dragon is stronger, Orion is faster, Dragon is smart, Orion is......well more vicious, they pound the crap out of each other but Dragon just cancels out Orion's punches.

VS. Zauriel:

Dragon may be topheavy but he moves like a ninja, Zauriel takes off an arm, but it'll grow back, Dragon grabs him by the throat and kicks Zauriel in the ribs and head for several minutes.

10. FireStorm

Powers:

Has ability to change the molecular structure of one thing and change it into another, also the most misnamed hero in comics, you'd think "Firestorm, ohhhh...he must use some sort of flame!" but nope he doesn't.

VS. Dragon:

Before Dragon can even move Ronnied have the hunk of ground Dragon was standing on into a titanium steel jail cell.

VS. Hulk:

Same as Dragon, FireStorm is much to powerful to lose to a green loser.

VS. Aquaman:

He'd prabally turn Aquaman's hook into a giant lead block, and then he'd probally find some other creative way to put Aquie down for the long count.

VS. Green Lantern

First off, this would be a hell of a fight, one that Firestorm might even lose. He dosen't know this new guy and he'd try something yellow, thats when GL would say hey, no vunerability to yellow and knock Ronnie out but for all sakes and purposes Firestorm is more powerful, just very, very, stupid.

VS. Orion:

Firestorm would simply turn his helmet into an air tight Darth Vader mask or something.

9. Charles Xavier

Powers:

The most powerful telepath on Earth (I think more powerful than J'onn J'onzz, but lets see ol' wheelchair boy Charlie lift a couple of tons).

VS. Firestorm:

Chuck would "sense" the two minds inside the one body of Firestorm and force them to seperate.

VS. Dragon:

Verrrry cut and dry, Dragon sees his opponent and then laughs, but then Chuck hits him with a mind bolt.

VS. Hulk:

Just like the Dragon match, Chuckie could just shut him down telepathicly and make him turn into stupid Banner, then laugh as Banner said, "Hulk smash!!!!".

VS. Aquaman:

Aquaman could easily beat Chuck, just block the telepathic attack and tip over his wheelchair, but Chuck can still beat Hulk while Aquaman can't so thats why hes #9 and Aquaman's #13.

VS. Green Lantern:

GL would attack this like he does everthing else, halfcocked and Chuck'ed learn'em a thing or three about deep mind probing.

8. Doctor Strange

Powers:

Master of the mystic arts, master of sorcery.

VS. Charles Xavier:

Since Doc Strange knows Chuck he'd set up telepathic barriers and then do a little bit o'crippletippin' the game thats sweeping America!!!!

VS. Firestorm:

Everything Firestorm did, DS could undo, eventually Ronnie'd run out of power while the Doctor is still in the house, down goes Ronnie and the Professor.

VS. Dragon:

The crimson bands of Cytorak would come in handy here.

VS. Hulk:

DS has already beaten the Hulk before, by transporting him into another dimension.

VS. Aquaman:

Although Aquaman's dad was a wizard, Aquaman doesn't know anything about the mystic arts, Doc shows him a thing or three.

7. Preacher (a.k.a. Jesse Custer)

Powers:

Possesed with the demonic/angel creature known as genesis, Jesse Custer has something like the word of God, most people have to do what he tells them, Example: in 'Preacher: Gone to Texas' he tells a Sherif to go fuck himself, and thats just what he does, he severes his own genitals and.....well you get the picture.

VS. Doc Strange:

Doc Strange thinks of a way to hex Jesse while Jesse tells him to go dig a sixty foot deep hole with his bare hands, DS is not seen again for several weeks.

VS. Professor X:

Chuck'd get all disorientated when he sensed Genesis and probally pass out.

VS. Firestorm:

Jesse'd probally tell him to go give himself an enima and that's just what Firestorm would do, without a rubber glove.

VS. Savage Dragon:

Dragon would start and attack but then turn away and go clean every toilet in the world.

VS. Hulk:

"HULK SMASH!!! HIMSELF"

6. Spawn

Powers:

After making a deal with the devil Malebolgia Spawn has finite magical powers, a living costume that responds to his every command and a verrrry bad disposition.

VS. Preacher:

Preacher would tell Spawny guy to got to hell and Spawn would smile and grab Preacher by the throat and show him hell. I'd don't think the word of God works on an agent of Hell.

VS. Doc Strange:

Although Doc Strange could use his power more freely, Spawn would see his magical prowess and undo everything Doc Strange has to offer, and eventually put a chain down his throat.

VS. Charles Xavier:

Chuck would take one look at Spawny guy's mind and vomit and aphixiate. Leaving Spawny Guy time to remove Chuck.

VS. Firestorm:

Spawn wraps a chain around his throat and removes the air supply to his brain forcing him to pass out.

VS. Dragon:

Spawn knows Dragon and would hesitate using his powers on him until Dragon started beating the crap out of him then he'd probally, put a basketball sized hole right through Dragon's stomach, it'll take a while to heal from that.

5. The Flash

Powers:

Super-Super speed, can pass through solid objects but they explode after. can run at the speed of light but doesn't because it will make him merge with the speed force. VS. Spawn: Before Spawn can think of a way to beat him, Flash pounds him 1500 times per second at the speed of sound.

VS. Preacher:

Before Jesse could open his mouth Flash would already have broken his jaw.

VS. Doc Strange:

While he's conjoring up a spell The Flash bashes his face in.

VS. Professor X:

Chuck wouldn't even know who clobbered him at the speed of sound.

VS. FireStorm:

BANG! all of a sudden FireStorm's on the ground with a broken nose.

4. Wonder Woman

Powers:

Super Strength, Speed, stamina, fighting ability and warrior know how, flight, an unbreakable lasso that allows her to control men (ouch).

VS. The Flash:

The Flash may be faster, much faster, but WW has alot of skill and would eventually k.o. the Flash at super speed.

VS. Spawn:

this would be a good fight but in the end WW is left standing.....no scratch that, collapsing.

VS. Preacher:

The speed of hermes would help here to k.o. Jesse before he said some magic words.

VS. Doc Strange:

After Doc Strange laid a couple of spells on her, WW would use the speed of hermes to k.o. his majestic ass.

VS. Professor X:

He wouldn't even hget a chance to mind probe her before she got that rope around him and told him to go for a walk, which Chuck couldn't do, ha ha.

3. Thor

Powers:

God of lightning, Super strength, invunerability, posses the magical hammer Mjolnir, which can control lightning, fly and pass through other dimensions.

VS. Wonder Woman:

This would be a battle that took an extrely long time, but in the end the thunder God wins, he's just stronger than Diana, he also has Millenia of experiance over Di.

VS. The Flash:

The Flash pummbles Thor for several minutes before he calls down a hail storm of lightning and fries the Flash.

VS. Spawn:

Spawn may land a couple of hits to the Thunder God but when Thor cococked him with Mjolnir, Spawn goes down.

VS. Preacher:

Plain and simple, Jesse is a human with human weaknesses, Thor backhands him like so many Asgardian wenches.

VS. Doc Strange:

Thor uses the hammer to propel himself into the good Doctor laying him flat out.

2. Superman

Powers:

Super strength, nigh invunerability, super speed, stamina, Heat vision, x-ray vision, super senses and flight.

VS. Thor:

This is a fight there has always been speculation about but I have the answer, Supes is to good to be beaten by Thor, Thor can't fly, he's not fast, he's not as strong as Supes, he's not as smart as Supes, all he's got goin for him is Mjolnir, Superman would find a way to seperate the Hammer and Thor, whether its using heat vision or seeing what it says on the hammer "if he be worthy then he shall inheirit the power of Thor" imagine Superman with Mjolnir, Supes would get his hands on that hammer and beat the crap out of Thor with it I can hear Thor saying "mercy, please givith me mercy".

VS. Wonder Woman:

This fight would take along time but Supes is a little bit stronger, a little bit faster and a whole hell of a lot smarter than WW, she goes down.

VS. The Flash:

The fight would happen at the speed of sound and when they came back into view, Supes would be carrying Flash away.

VS. Spawn:

Krypton's last son versus an agent of hell. Although Spawny Guy might land a few blows on the man o' Steel, Supes would land about ten punches at 400mph and k.o. Spawny-guy.

VS. Preacher:

Jesse doesn't even get to utter any words before he goes night-night.

1. Silver Surfer

Powers:

Given the power cosmic by Galactus, SS can do alot of differant things including manipulate matter and energy. He can also move faster than the Flash.

VS. Superman:

Superman would land the first few hits and probally put SS on the ropes but then SS would just throw down some of that power cosmic and leave Supes lying at the bottom of a large smoking crater.

VS. Thor:

Same deal as Supes, Thor couldn't haddle the power cosmic.

VS. Wonder Woman:

Down just like Superman.

VS. the Flash:

SS may be faster then the Flash when he is in space, because there is no friction there but when he arrives on Earth, Flash begins pounding on him and just doesn't stop. Eventually SS gets frustrated and unleashes the power cosmic and Flash goes down.

VS. Spawn:

Spawn wouldn't even see him coming.
