The Zoo

DANGER:  Beware of penguins!

The Birdies...
The cute little guy at the top of this picture is Aramis, a Lilac-Crowned Amazon. Aramis loves to play "peek-a-boo", and says lots of words such as "Hi!", "Uppy-uppy?", "Love you!".  If Aramis likes you, he will "shake hands" and may even give you a "high four".

Right under Aramis in the red outfit is Ada, who is a Solomon Island Eclectus. Ada says "Hi!" and is best known for her appetite, eating just about anything that comes near her cage (including my fingers!)

In the foreground to the left of Ada is Lola, who is a Red-Lored Amazon. Lola is the grand dame of the flock, being in the vicinity of 30 years old. Lola says her name, whistles, barks, and says a lot of other stuff that no one has been able to quite make out yet

On the bottom of the picture is Roja, who is a Vosemari Eclectus. Roja says "Hi" like the other parrots, but hasn't been observed to say much else. Just bashful, I guess.

LEVON

"Levon loves his mommy.
Loves her lots they say.
He spends his days sleepin' on his momma's bed in the usual wayyyy....."

Levon is a flame point siamese cat.   He's really a very good kitty who hardly ever gets into any trouble.

FIFI

Fifi is a sweetie, but is usually very shy.  But like many shy girls, Fifi can be a real tiger when she gets affectionate.  If she really, really likes you, she'll chew on your fingers while you're trying to pet her.

MISHA
At left is the baby of the house, and is spoiled rotten.  A spoiled little brat.  Rotten to the core.  And too cute to stay mad at.
Natasha Kittensky
is my cat.  Known alternately as "The Foreman" and "Love Slut", Natasha is the Chatelaine of the house. She greets each and every visitor with a warm and fuzzy "LOVE ME!!!"

It is with great regret that I must announce the passing of Natasha Kittensky on 04/16/2005. She was a great kitty and I miss her terribly.

SASHA
The sociopath of our family,

Here is our little miracle dog, Sammy, who was hit on the freeway and had her hips crushed. She was attended to by our Veterinarian Matt Didlake who helped us to heal her and now she's in pretty good shape. The little Darlin'.
