A laughing voice said from accross the room.Kathryn gave her first officer a very cold look."Doctor I don't think the Commander has had his annual vassinations." Chakotays' eyes widened in horror."I'll be on the bridge" she said as she left sickbay.As she left she heard two voices, "Uhh...you know I feel fine-" "Regardless commander you need theses vasinations to keep you 'feeling fine',now relax there are only 14 of them."The crew wondered about the wide eyed,sadisticlly smiling Captian as she made her way to the bridge.

"There is an abnormality in your blood" "a abnormality?" "yes.It would appear you've contracted some sort of virus-it's not deadly or contageous but I'd like to run somemore test" the doctor lookes a Chakotay,and Chakotay glared back, "Will there be anymore shoots?".
"I can't belive your releaving me of duty!!" "Chakotay, I am not releaveing you of duty,only suggesting you take the doctors advice and rest." Suggest?" he snickered. "O.k. an order!For the next day or two."
"I can't beleave she releaved me of duty" he mumered to himself as he paced back and forth threw his guaters.'well...I have been feeling odd lately ,sense the away mission and with the Rakium embassador and his party arriving in a week he needed to rest and cram information about thier culture...after his nap.
Commander Chakotay has missed another checkup...this is the 3rd time" the doctors irrataed voice,paused briefly then continued, "Whenever I call him he's always sleeping". "I'll have a talk with him Doctor." Kathryn replied as she mentaly rubbed her temples ."Thank you Captin."
Kathryn sat back a exhaled deeply.Something was really wrong with her first officer,just this afternoon B'ellana complaned about Chakotay missing thier weekly racketball game,'or atleast she'd complained to Tom,who'd told Harry and...who cares'.She was going to have a talk with him,with the Rakium emmasador arriving soon she was wrecked with stress only to add this to it! She stood,streghted,then left her ready room."You have the bridge Tuvok." Tuvok did not mention that her shift had ended and his had begun two and a half hours ago.He only nodded as she walked to the turbo lift,and stepped inside once the doors had opened. she requested the desired deck then waited for the lift to take her there.The doors opened and she walked out,and headed down the corridors to her first officers quatered.She pressed the chimer and waited,then pressed iy again after the first one went unanswered,still no response."Computor,locate Commander Chakotay." "Commander Chakotay is in his quaters.". Kathryn tried the comm bagdes...still no reply.She overode the locks on his door them steped inside,the tempature was atleast 30 degress lower than that of the rest of the ship,slowly she walked depper into the main room,he wasn't there so she walked into the bedroom his bed was made but looked as thought someone had slept ontop of the covers.She felt rather than heard movement behind her,she turned into a very muscular and very bare chest.Strong arms righted her,but also gave her the revelation that the rest of him was very,very bare!!!"oh my...I didn't mean to inturrupt but you didn't answer your hails-" she relised she was rambling on."I'll wait for you to get dressed, then your going for your check-up." When she finished she only relised that he had backed her farther into the room when the backs of her kness bumped the bed."I should wait for you in the mainroom." she said "why" his voice startles her,it was softer yet deeper then ussual.Only then did she look him in the eyes,and gasp;the balck velvet of his eyes were glowing!!"oh my go-Janeway to-" he snacthed the comm badge from her chest and crushed it in his left hand,and grabbed for her with his right,she blocked it and ran for the door...it wouldn't open."Computor open doors" "This door was sealed by the captians voice code, her authorization is needed to open it." "What?!" "when you overrode my lock, I programmed the computor to seal it with those codes." Chakotay said behind her,then addressing the computor he commanded "Computor disable all voice commands in this room" a small beeping was all the indication that it had been done."Open the door" Janeway demanded, he only smiled showing elongated k-9 teeth on his upper and lower jaw;and slowly as if stalking prey her advanced on her.
