- In the Paris Opera House lived a ghost - unfortunate of those who doubt it.
The Phantom of the Opera inhabited the immense underground labyrinth of the most famous theater of Paris, leaving his lair only for sake of his two passions: music, and the young soprano Christine Daae.
In the dark corridors, lounges and cellars of the Opera, the mysterious figure of the Phantom unfolds little by little; the image of the spirit of doom fades, giving way to the angel, to the genius, and, at last, to the man.
