It wasn't going to be at first, Kath didn't want to be one, and I had pouted, hoping for the chance to write one of my friends into the story lines as one. Finally she gave in, telling me, "As long as I get to stay with Duncan forever..." So I went ahead with writing.
This Immortal has yet to take a head, though she has had a couple close calls. Duncan MacLeod has been training her for using a cup-hilt rapier, a lighter weapon that suits her quite well.

I met Kath on July 16, 1998. She had written me a thank you letter for signing her guestbook, and after that I asked her simply if she would like me to write a story for her. With a "Yes! Defintely!" I went ahead and wrote out a five page story for her. Who knew that after two trilogies, a two-part story, and finally a birthday present - she became Immortal.
