 hese are magical devices used to keep the sky-ships built by the humans of Mysaniti to allow them to wage aerial war in the Eternal War. They have been manufactuered from lead, and by virtue of that alone are immensily heavy and dense. Then, when the mundane craftsman of the Sky-Crafters Guild are finished with the fashioning of the levitators, the mages take over. These mages are trained in the secret paths of the Sky-Crafters Guild, and know secret spells that allow the weight of these massive objects to be increased 10 or even a 100-fold. Then, spells of flight (really, only the 3rd level Fly spell) are made permanent on the levitators and then the control of the levitators is slaved to the helm chair itself. Again, the doing of this is a secret of the Sky-Crafters Guild.
