his nation of elves is considered the heirs to Nal'Avissar. These elves are in fact the descendants of those elves who survived the Outpouring in Nal'Avissar's capital Myth Nal'Avissar. These elves have followed a wizardly lifestyle in the years following the Outpouring. The bulk of the lore from the lost nation of Nal'Avissar has been preserved by the Tale'sin. Also, the Tree of Life is cared for and gaurded by the Tale'sin within the ruins of Myth Nal'Avissar. Several lightships are used by the Tale'sin to keep tresspassers away from Lake Avissar in order to protect the tree.
In game terms, the Tale'sin have two changes from the normal AD&D elf. The Tale'sin are allowed the High Mage Kit (from The Elves of Evermeet) when within Myth Nal'Avissar. Tale'sin elves are allowed an additional multi-class option- the psionicist/mage. A -1 penalty is applied to the maximum possible level in both classes. This multi-class combination is viewed culturally as a variant on the fighter/mage combination.
