Ares Water Patrol P-22

The Ares Water Patrol P-22 was originally designed to help escort Ares transport submarine convoys through Africa and other areas with high instances of pirate attacks.  The design was so successful at fending off pirates and corporate privateers that Ares Arms decided to begin mass producing it as a general underwater security vehicle.  Since then it has become relatively common among corporate fleets and deep sea installations.  Recently a large shipment of P-22s was captured by Cuban pirates and large numbers of P-22s have, consequently, been showing up in coastal black markets, especially New Orleans, Los Angeles and Seattle.

The hull of the P-22 is ovoid with a small round bump that serves as it's turret. The turret normally carries a minitorpedo launcher and has a full 360 range of motion.   Entry is provided by a pair of small  hatches arranged directly over the two bucket seats.  The crew of the P-22 sit in separate compartments.  The forward compartment is configured for the pilot and the aft compartment is usually occupied by a gunner.   The P-22s methane engine powers a miniscrew located at it's aft.

(Note: Treat the minitorpedo as a standard AVM (p. 99 SR II) with a damage code of 20D standard or 4LN ship.  The P-22 normally carries 4.)
