Politics
This is a boring repeat of other episodes sprinkled with the information Daniel has. It’s sad considering the quality of "There but For the Grace OF God." And also after "Enigma" which included people of the past yet in an original form it shows repeat information can be done while entertaining the viewer, well me at least.
Plot
Daniel talks about the other reality. SG-1 is told of the meeting. They have their argument with Senator McKenzie; they lose even with Daniel telling about the attack on the other Earth.
Gripes
In the movie shot they show the ship landing, however neither Daniel or Jack were there when it happened. Also how come they used that version of Pandora’s Box why not the one where one of the Gods put Hope into the box to make life bearable to us poor humans.
Favourite Scene
Jack telling Daniel to keep his mouth shut about the other reality. Teal’c telling why he helps SG-1 and staid to fight Apothsis. Oh of course Daniel saying how Jack and Sam were engaged in the other reality.
Nice Touch
Having the Stargate reflecting off the glass as the team is shown looking at it.
Acting
Everybody gives a fine job in this one and are realistic in their fight to save the SGC.
Writing
Brad Wright is up to par for the original writing. However there is nothing that makes me jump and say that was great. I understand that they needed this type of episode to sum up plots but it doesn’t mean I have to like it.
I original Script out of 10 re-runs
"Why don’t we just load a virus into the mothership." Daniel
I do like this episode cause it gave me this short review.
