    Fiction by Raederle
Due to recent copyright infringements, I've decided to remove my serious works. From now on you can only read fanfiction and essays. Sorry, but not all the world is free. As always, none of my work is up for grabs.

    Essays by Rae
These are the some of the essays that I wrote when I was in high school. Some explainations will be required, but you will basically be able to see how much a writing style can change in a few years. I figure I might as well get a double use out of them.

    • Crucify
The subject was the idea of Christian goodness exhibited in the migrant workers in The Grapes of Wrath. On the Holistic scale, I received a 3 due to lots of gramatical errors. The content on this one wasn't bad, though.
    • Some Do It With A Gun
This essay focuses on the destrucive nature of men towards those that they love. Our source was Of Mice and Men. I got a 4+ on this one. Not a stellar essay, but I think it was at lease convincing.
    • A Slight Psychosis
This one was a bit of a stretch. It was about the satirization of the romantic view of life in The Adventures of Huckleberry Fin. I got a 3 on this one.
    • Truth: The Mutable Dream
I got a 6 on this essay. The subject was the delusions of the characters in The Glass Menagerie. It's a fairly good one.
    • Ceremony of Innocence
I got a 6 on this one, too, but I'll be honest: I didn't finish the book. The topic was The Role of the Writer in relation to Things Fall Apart, so I took my strong views as a writer and pulled this one out of my ear.
    • Here Hung Those Lips
Senior year now. I noticed that my writing style got a little tighter under this teacher. Anyway, this one is about dark humour in Hamlet. I made a 97 on this one (back to the regular grading scale).
    • Out, Vile Jelly!
Another 97. This essay is about deception in King Lear. I have another 97 floating around in my papers somewhere from an essay about the uses of blood in Macbeth. We studied all three from jolly ol' Shakespeare back to back.
    • The Pernacious Race
An essay on the difference between big and little (not as size) in Gulliver's Travels. Some awkward structure here and there, but otherwise it's okay. I received a 99 on this.
    • Onward Crosstian Solders
I didn't like writing this one. I got a 98, but I didn't really understand what I was writing. It was about Shaw's concept of Crosstianity.
    • Two Infernal Old Rascals
Basically a character comparison of Alfred Doolite from Pygmaillion and Undershaft from Major Barbara. I got a 99.
    • Tophet's Tool
The most enjoyable essay of my senoir year. We were instructed to take Evidence from the poem Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came and tell in an essay what it meant. I got rather creative on this one (I'm one sick Tribble), and I got a 96.
    • Here Endeth
A rather deep essay about religion verses technology and chaos. I got a 98.
    • Look to the Children
About how the island in Lord of the Flies is a microcosim of human society. It was boring to write, and I didn't really like it. I got a 98.
    • The Depths of Shallowness
The superficial nature of human moral systems. I felt like Daria when writing this. I used Lord of the Flies, The Scarlet Letter, Crime and Punishment, and Bernard Shaw's characters. I got a 99.
    • Brief Moments
This one is about how a single decision can isolate someone from society. I got a 96.
    • The Yugoslavia Problem
A paper written for Contemporary Issues class. He told us to write a paper solving the conflict in Yugoslavia. Riight. Well, anyway, here she is.

    Les Histoires par Raederle
A few original stories in french. Not anticipated to be a large section.

    • Le Petit Chaperon Rouge
My rendition of Little Red Riding Hood that I wrote for an assignment in French class.
