Sergeeva's Sorrow.

By Danni

Happy Birthday - Jan 2000

Sue sat back and gazed at the computer screen thoughtfully...there were so many things she wanted to write ... so many half ideas floating around in her brain.

She really should get back to work on the Rarest Man series but, in concert with everyone else, she'd gone right off Mulder. And, wonderful as Walter was, she couldn't just have him standing in front of a mirror all by himself, appreciating his own body - she needed a catalyst.

She thought about pairing her beloved Walter with Obi-Wan as Samantha had done so brilliantly -- but that was the trouble, it had been brilliant, even to the loving descriptions of Walter's body. Although some people had been a little miffed that Obi-Wan hadn't got equal naked appreciation time she didn't care, he was too short for her anyway. Off in the corner a little plot bunny wimpered then resolutely channelled its disappointment into the Force, maybe she'd be more receptive to Mind-Whammy later on and it could get her to rethink collaboration on a sequel.

Perhaps, Sue thought suddenly, perhaps she could do a torture story where poor Walter was captured by a giant alien, held up high and ...shaken...?... that wasn't her usual sort of thing at all, where had that thought come from? Ahhh - she leant over and gently removed a slightly worse-for-wear plot bunny from Titus' mouth.

She leapt up as a sword grazed her toes...the unrepentent Immortal!Skinner plot bunny bowed to her and hopped off giggling with the Alien!Mulder bunny. She frowned, they weren't even hers...how long *was* Wombat going to take on that new young Obi fic, she didn't need other people's refugees!

Really, everybody was getting into crossovers these days, maybe she should just bow her head and go with the flow. But who to cross? Who deserved her beautiful Walter? Jim Ellison had a military background and was the right height, but what to do about the tag-along Blair? Colonel O'Neal could keep up with the alien theme but he didn't just come with one partner, he had three! Plus the Colonel, plus the doctor...it was just too hard. There was always that gorgeous Doyle, now, he too had a body that bore loving description... oh damn!... and a really jealous and overwhelmingly competent partner.

Who didn't have a partner these days?

She sighed again...starting to feel a little light headed.

Perhaps a total AU - RobberBaron!Skinner?

The Reader smiled and, leaning close to her touch sensitive screen, reached out and gently ruffled the cat's ears. Then goosed another bunny.
