SURPRISE, SURPRISE!

Zeroing in on Skinner's shirt buttons, Mulder teased the first two open.
"You forget where we are", Skinner growled, trying to regain control of his clothing.
"X-Files are my day job, it's ten past midnight, and now officially the weekend. Weekends are for play."
Vainly struggling to button up faster than Mulder could unbutton, Skinner fell back against the desk.
"Under that innocent exterior, you're really a persistent little..."
"Temper, temper, Walter. Stress is bad for you. Remember what Scully said about your blood pressure?"
Questing fingers slid over his chest, circling over bare skin. Pushing Skinner lower against his blotter, Mulder peeled the starched cotton back from the muscled torso.
"Okay, I give up, Mulder. Now can we take this somewhere more appropriate?"
"My place or yours? Langly is still debugging mine. Kersh probably has yours bugged to make sure you aren't fraternising with me. Just lie back and relax, Walter. I'm only just getting started with you."
Hips pinned by Mulder's braced legs, Skinner let himself begin to enjoy the kisses that swept moistly from his nipples to his navel. Groans escaped his lips and he could feel the effects of Mulder's attentions in the tightening of his groin. Flat on his back on his own desk he wondered for the umpteenth time what Mulder saw in him.
"Ever thought you might be telepathic, Walter?" queried Mulder, as he dragged Skinner's pants and briefs down to his knees and contemplated the banquet laid out before him.
"Don't ever doubt that I want you, that I need you or that I love you, Walter, and not just because of your gorgeous bod."
Coming hard a few minutes later, Skinner decided that he just had to give in and believe in Mulder's love. Because Mulder had pulled away just as Skinner thought he would die from bliss, gone down on one knee on Skinner's Persian rug, and proposed to him.
Always one for surprises, Mulder.
