Posting:
Write your posts in past tense. I will be putting your posts together when I send things back out and it flows better if everyone writes in the same tense.
Out of character comments are marked either with ooc or ;;;
Out of character comments should be as few as possible on the list. If you have questions for me, just send an email directly to me.
If you do put out of character comments in your post, put them at the end.
Your characters gain experience in the following ways:
Posting. Just sending in a few lines in response to others' dialogue or actions. If you put more effort into the posts, you get more experience.
Combat. You gain experience for damage dealt or received. Hitting or being hit is still learning.
Using your skills. Using your other skills including spells that don't do damage.
Good ideas. Plans that come together, innovative approaches to problems.
Courage. Not suicide missions but I definately reward bravery.
Playing in character. I have given a basic rule (of being on the side of good) for your character that you have to stick with. I will learn more about your characters as you play and you need to stick with that way of playing unless you have a good reason to change. I don't want characters flip-flopping just because it's convenient.
Sending me a background information or some story from the character's past that I can put on the web page.
Sending me a picture of your character that I can put on the web page.
And finally, succeeding in your missions.
Oh yeah, and nagging the DM deducts points......Bob.
