Posted by Debbie on Tuesday, 27 July 1999, at 5:49 p.m.
We wanted to let everyone know that Anthony De Longis is scheduled to appear, (barring professional commitments, of course), at:
HLDU3, Australia's Third Highlander Convention. It will be held at the Mercure Hotel, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia from 14 to 16 April, 2000.
From the HLDU web page: HLDU
We are very pleased to announce that VALENTINE PELKA and ANTHONY DE LONGIS have agreed to come and join us.
Both guests will be attending the Saturday night function.
The Con, as always, will be very participatory and offer you lots of opportunities to interact with guests and fellow fans in intelligent discussions and workshops. We offer a small and friendly Convention with many opportunites to make new friends both from inside Australia and from overseas.
We are also attempting to line up some phone hookups and there could even be another guest!
We hope that Anthony and Val will choreograph a sword fight for us.
Anthony will be running a Beginner's Sword workshop (sticks, not swords~sorry!)-but it is not to be missed by all accounts.
More good news- the *Other* Highlander Store, (Holzheimers)will be attending with a terrific range of Highlander merchandise.
