This is a character I made up. The pictures on this site are the images I choose to represent what my character looks like. What I have written here has nothing to do with the actual living person, who these are pictures of. If you are interested in the real silent film actress please go here. If not, please enjoy this page.
Catherine and her twin brother, Christopher, were born in Pais, France in 1800. Her family moved to New Orleans when she was eleven years old. There they had a plantation.
Catherine married a man who liked to travel. He had business interests in China, and took Catherine with him on one of his trips. There she was embraced by a Salubri named Lu Bu. She learns the way of the healing from Lu Bu, and is asked to look for other Salubri in the west. Lu Bu did not know about the prejudice that had killed off so many of his kind in the west. Hence, Catherine was warned of the danger her third eye would bring her at home, in America...
Catherine came home and found that her twin brother had also been embraced by a vampire. He had been excepted into the Brujah clan. Over joyed that she would not have to explain herself her strange nocternal habbits, she shows him her third eye. Christopher is shocked and dismayed by this display. He loved his sister too much to turn her over to the Tremere. He then tells her of the danger she is, and how she must hide who she really is. Christopher then takes her to his clan and claims that he has embraced her. Catherine then learns the disciplines she needs to know for the disguise from her brother. It has worked so far.
She is now a writer, known in New Orleans. She has published a book on Chinese legends and myths. She has also written fiction stories about southern plantation life in the swamp. Catherine is currently writing a non-fiction book on Chinese mystasism. She has already made several trips back and forth from China to New Orleans for research and to visit her mentor. On these trips to China, she makes certain to bring back gifts for the Brujah clan: weapons, incense, works of art, etc. Catherine also has a small collection of Chinese tomes in her library.
