DRAGON'S ARE A MAN'S BEST FRIEND

AND A WOMAN'S TOO

RAGOURNAUT

The famous fantasy author Anne McCaffrey's description of Dragons: "as nothing more magnificent than an enormous, brightly colored, winged, fire-breathing dragon soaring against the backdrop of the sky? Imagine actually being able to ride such a creature. Imagine that the fantastic beast is your very best friend, tied to you forever by an unbreakable telepathic bond."

I am Ragournaut, a female green fire breathing Dragon with a easy going temperment for the most part. Green Dragons as a whole are mellow, full of spirit and love to play. We adore having many friends. I love the grasslands, forests, and anywhere there is lots of green... Green is my favorite color and Z is my favorite letter. I also love children and have a deep passion to help unwanted and injured creatures. I would adopt the world if I could...*s*

My mate is Lord Ifrit and he is a red fire breathing Dragon with a temperment to match. Red Dragons are very fiery and quick tempered so be very careful of your remarks around them. They are very aggressive and want to dominate their surroundings. Their favorite haunts are the mountains, forests, deserts and love to prowl into deep dark caves even though their ultimate desire is to be in warmer temperatures.

We are warm blooded passionate creatures. Dragons mate for life so when choosing your beloved one must very particular. Would it not be the worse nightmare to have to live eternity with someone whom you despise...?

Dragons come in all shape and sizes, colors and temperments. We are a clanish bunch. We can communicate telepathically and can teleport instantaneously from one location to another. I though prefer to travel in flight for the beauty of it.

We reside in the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee and our Lair is located high up in a cave near the North Carolina line. I have prepared my nest which as you would expect is quite large. Due to the large amount of rain here we have drainage ditches dug on either side to keep water from dampened the fibers of our babes' bedding.

It takes 70 to 80 days for the clutch to hatch. The babes will be about five feet in length when they arrive but will grow to be approximately sixteen feet to even longer. The little ones stay with their mothers for about twenty years and then usually are pushed out of the nest to forge for themselves.

The time is getting close for you can see some of the eggs moving.....It is such an exciting time. Some eggs are bigger than others. All of my hatchlings will be fire breathers.
