Calad & Candar
Both of thes towns have grown from the trade with neighboring kingdoms and the comfort of protection, real or otherwise, from the nearby fortress. The towns are minor centers of trade and have some military training facilities.
Both fortresses are well-manned and are the seats of the region's overlord. The strongholds were built in the time before the Alliance and when trust between kingdoms was not as strong. This was perhaps more important for Cerk, where wealth made it a very desirable target for raids or even invasion.

Other Settlements
The town of Elmdar is a trading and market town. The area around it is particularly fertile and has many farming communities. There is a high percentage of humans here due to its proximity to the Argent Empire.
Other major settlements within the kingdom are located near mining centers. These towns are slightly rougher than other towns in the kingdom and this reflects the particular attitudes and lifestyles of miners.
