Elzon is a medium sized kingdom with the lowest population density. Being on the edge of the alliance, it has not developed the same character as the other kingdoms.
Quick Facts
This kingdom is mostly elven, with humans in the western part farming the land, and some dwarves working the mines in the south.
Unknown to any an elven city-kingdom (similiar to Tolkien's Gondolin) was founded here, in Elzon, to the east. The city itself is in the mountains and its approach is protected by the Elzon Forest that occupies the eastern half of the kingdom.
The Elzon Forest has a bad name for people disappearing and 'evil' things.... The truth is that the elven city is very well warded and protected. No one approaches unless they allow it.
These are real Tolkien first-age elves. Very high level, beautiful, and deadly. they have been born and bred for thousands of years just to fight a war. They have skills honed to perfection.
Alliance Concerns
It may be, because they are an unknown element to the North, that they may be the mysterious element that can turn the tables of any war yet to come....
Economy
Elzon has a pass to the South, but it is a particularly long and high pass, difficult in all weathers. Once the alliance was complete, it seemed most sensible for Elzon, Cathu, and Dalsu to go to Caladon and then south.
There are no metal ores found here in the Eastern Caladon Mountains, but Elzon does mine something that the others don't have much of -- gems! This hasn't done much to stimulate growth, though....
Due to little trade traffic, there has been no real population growth.
