A.k.a. Adian the Loud. This is one loud mouth who doesn't know when to shut up. But Tymora likes it that way since he talks a lot about her, and has coerced, convinced, talked into, and scared many people into following Tymora devoutly, much to the chagrin of many of the other deities in Faerun. He has made a name for himself in the Heartlands, yet for some reason he either doesn't know it, doesn't acknowledge it, or just plain ignores it.

The eldest son of the Lathkule family of Waterdeep, a family rich from the trade and marketing of fine jewels and gems, he was forced from his home at the age of 15. His parents didn't know how to shut him up, so they sent him to the Tower of Luck, Waterdeep's temple to Tymora, where he was taught (unsuccessfully) to operate many different games of chance, and in the end devoted his life to his goddess.

He resorted to a life of preaching the faith and promoting the temple's casino for a year before he learned that his younger brother, Brandier, ran away from home with a band of scoundrels from the Dock Ward of the city. He immediately set upon a quest for the search of his brother, meeting up with Tiger Shark and company as they were heading back east towards Shadowdale. To this day, Adian has never learned that his brother was killed in a bad twist of fate just days before he set off to find him. This also means that he has never learned that Tiger Shark and Stargazer tried to save him from his death, but failed.

His goals are constantly waxing and waning like the faces of the moon and one week he'll be hell-bent on finding his brother, and the next he'll be unswervingly set on converting as many "heathens" as possible to "dare all and trust in the Lady." Upon reaching Cormyr, he had visions of Tymora so far implanted within Tiger Shark's head that he was invited to attend a small ceremony in Arabel, whereupon he emerged as one of the Favored of Tymora.

Since that time, he has wandered, almost to the point of giving up his hunt for his brother, trusting in his strange luck that he'll stumble upon him in a strange way one day....
