Eldren is an elven fighter from the mystical, far off land of Nimbral. He obviously is my namesake.... He takes great care of his strong armor from his homeland. He likes it very shiny, and spends time every day to keep it looking good. He is very close-mouthed about his land, not answering questions about it without turning it into a question to the inquisitor, or not answering it at all. Eldren is very polite, articulate, proud (almost arogant), yet very level-headed. He enjoys nature and really loves to dance.
Eldren was made using a kit from Warriors & Priests of the Realms, © 1996 TSR Inc. It was requested by the DM that I create a strong character with some bells and whistles to keep the party in line in case they decided to do something stupid. Thus, it is a bit of a munchkin character. I tried to correct this by role-playing him very well, and making choices in battle that forced the other players to actually play a little and think at times. Therefore, you will find him with crystal armor and the ability to cast wizard spells as a bard 3 levels lower. You'll also notice the high Strength score....
Eldren's adventures led him to some strange places. Running from city guards in Westgate due to the stupidity of the thief of the party. Facing a vampire face to face, and doing whatever possible to get the rest of the party to flee, after he'd given them directions to encircle it while he distracted it. He also got a little tangled up in a mess with the Cult of the Dragon, whom he still hates with a passion after taking a friend's life.
He has since resorted to a life of solitary travel, and has become a "star" NPC in my game. He has gained one level since becoming an NPC, but nothing else has been altered. He shows up in the strangest places, making the party wonder where he came from and what he's doing. He can be found in temples of Tymora gambling, those of Liira dancing the night away, or those of Kelemvor praying and vowing to put an end to the Cult of the Dragon. He often wanders off or "disappears" the same way he is found.
