Captain Dylan Hunt

Captain of the Andromeda, Dylan was suspended in time for 300 years near a black hole.  He now seeks to restore the Systems Commonwealth.

He is a man of high ideals and standards for himself and others. Loyal to his crew and to the Commonwealth he at times seems unable or at least unwilling to come to grips with some harsh realities of the "present".

Beka Valentine

The owner/captain of the salvage ship, "Eurkea Maru", which rescued the Andromeda from the black hole. 

She is now Dylan's first officer, though often with an agenda of her own.

Tyr Anasazi

Keith Hamilton Cobb

A member of the genetically engineered Nietzschean race he was leader of the mercenaries hired to capture the Andromeda. 

When betrayed by his employer he choose to ally himself with Dylan on the Andromeda. He is a crafty and strong ally, though based on Nietzschean ethics he is still looking out for himself and his race first of all.

Laura Bertram

An artificial gravity and environmental specialist on the Maru she now is part of the Andromeda's crew. 

Often taking on the role of medical officer very little is known about her species, background or abilities. She seems 'dizzy' at times, but can talk her way into or out of some pretty tough situations!

Rev Bem

Brent Stait

A member of the Magog race who swept across Earth and other planets murdering, eating and incubating their young in the bodies of their victims.

Rev is a "Wayist" who deeply regrets the acts of his race and fights to avoid repeating them.  He was a member of Beka's crew and now on the Andromeda often serves as counselor and advisor for Dylan and others.

Seamus Harper

Gordon Michael Wolvett

Originally part of Beka's crew he is now a generally willing part of the Andromeda crew supporting Dylan and admiring (from afar to date) Rommie. 

He had a tough past on Earth due to the Magog attacks, often seems to take little seriously and can be a bit abrasive at time.  However, he seems a loyal friend and is a technical genius.

Andromdea (Rommie)

Lexa Doig

 The Andromeda's self-aware artificial intelligence program, "Rommie" can appear as a hologram, inhabit one of her robot drones or function through a humanoid body ("the ship made flesh").

She has a strong sense of duty, and is brave and loyal to a fault. She feels very close to and has an affection for Dylan.
