I was pretty happy with this one when I first made it. The Colonial viper's were sort of like the X-wings of Star Wars. I just loved their performance profiles. |

I made this model in late 1995. I had a little trouble fitting the rear section together. But eventually it all came together. |

I decided to go from the Ghost grey colour scheme ( mainly cause I couldn't get the paint!!). So, I decided to go for ITN medium grey. |

Once, I had the main colours done I set about detailing. I used mainly flat black, chrome and copper. With light grey around the front air-intake(?). Once painted, I applied the decals. I'd lost the decal sheet for the windows, so I hand painted them. |
I enhanced the plating joins with lines of smoke coloured paint from Tamiya. Finally, I used gunmetal spray to weather the overall appearance of the model. I had alot of fun doing this kit. |
