Well, you must really want to know about me, since you took the trouble to come to my site and all.  Okay, welcome to my site.  It's not that serious, but at least it makes a little bit of sense (or at least it does to me) I'm now taking bets for how long it will be before my next update...

I guess I should tell you about me. My name is Janice.  I also go by the name Janny, but don't call me Jan (I hate that) I am almost 25.  This makes me feel old sometimes. I live in New York City. I graduated from college in June of 2001.  I used to work in a bakery. I worked in a law office, but got laid off in September. Now I work for an ISP (but I studied television in school, go fig...) I drink a LOT of coffee. I have a warped sense of humor. (CLICK HERE for an old example) My favorite color is purple. (it's pretty obvious)

This is what I looked like back in college. I should get a newer picture, but I'd need to find one I like as much as this one...  I don't look all that different, actually

12/2/04 Wow, over a year since I last played with this site.  It's not that I've not been online, oh no.  I've actually made a LOT of friends and have an online social life almost as active as my real-life one (with quite a bit of overlap actually).  I'm a LOT less angry than I used to be.  I'm in a healthy relationship.  I've got my own apartment.  Life's pretty cool. If you want more frequently updated information about me, you can go read my LiveJournal.  The stuff in there is not reccommended for small children, as I'm not opposed to talking about gross things or using foul language (in moderation of course).

Things that were on my mind/in my life:

10/15/03: Hmm... guess it HAS been a while since I updated this.  I got dumped on 4/1/03. When I went to update I noticed that that was my last update day.  Still single, although I've had a few what I guess you could call "dates" between then and now.  I'm getting used to my own company and decideing that I rather enjoy it. I've lost 25 pounds.  I DID get a LiveJournal, but I'd rather not link to it, becasue there is some seriously depressing  stuff in there, especuially at the beginning.  Went back into therapy, got better, decided it was too expensive to continue and got out.  My self-esteem has never been higher.  I think that's all for now.  Dunno when my next yupdate will be, but you can always email me if you want to know what's up in my life...

3/23/2003:  So much for keeping this website updated on a regular basis.  Debating getting a Live Journal, and adding all this stuff from the front page to it as back entries.  -  In other news I'm going to go see a shrink probably in the next week or so.  I'm VERY anxious lately, to the point of freaking out on the subway once, and while I have an idea why (the WAR) I need help to not think that there aren't terrorists everywhere and that my family really does care and has no "hidden agenda".

11/21/2002: I've been playing The Sims a lot lately.  I'm getting very good at keeping them all fed and happy (and in one case breeding like rabbits!)  It's what's been keping me entertained for the last few days...

11/15/2002: The Chocolate Show comes to NYC this weekend.  I'm SO going to be there on Saturday.  I'll bet there's free samples!!!  Well they aren't really free because its' fifteen bucks to get in, but it's right up the block from where I work!  mmmmmmm... chocolate...

11/11/2002-- My printer is ALIVE!!!!!  As anyone who read my wishlist knows, I needed a new printer because my old one had died.  Well, I tried reinstalling the drivers with the hope that I could save eighty bucks and get it to work again.  It worked.  So I have taken it off my wishlist and you can get me something better for the holidays.
