Last night was an alright night of wrestling, a significant notch down from last weeks episodes of RAW and NITRO. Nitro delivered again, with another well booked episode by Ferarra and Russo. And Raw, which featured a decent main event and put on a great show. Al Snow and Mankind kicking some ass togeather, but still having his books burned. Poor Big Show. I cannot get over Chyna and her mini-me, Kitty (she looks soo cute in that outfit dont she?>. Their angle with Chris Jericho is going well and I love this whole 'master' and 'slave' thing.
On some other Raw notes: Good to see the Hardys and Edge and Christian still togeather. I loved watching Kane demolish Ex-Pac, despite his subsequent ass-kicking. And Billy Gunn put out a descent performence against Steve Austin. The Kurt Angle viginettes have aired, and I am dissapointed, I expected more. And one last thing, Road Dogg, dont ever, AND I MEAN EVER, hump The Rock again. A good show for the WWF.
Now on to what I belived was, for the 2nd week in a row, the most entertaining show WCW Monday Nirto. Where I am really fed up at the push the Filthy Animals are reciving. Beating up Meng, The Total Package, Sting, and The Revolution all in one night-this is ridiculus! The only reason theyre being pushed this hard is the WCW needs a faction similar to DX and its really annoying! On some other notes, Norman Smiley continues to impress me with his constant decimation of Hardcore's Finest (too bad Hak's not around anymore, eh?).
One particular element was the Scott Steiner interview. It is such a shame to see such a fine athlete on the verge of retirement, as the Nitro interview was legit. He is and always will be one of wrestling's greatest and we here at NccWrestling wish him the best of luck on a speedy and healthy recovery.
Kevin Nash's impersonation of Vince McMahon was hillarious! I must say, it was a million times better than the Road Dogg's. And with Scott Hall's great victory over Sid, things in the tournament are really shaping up to be intresting. And oh, before I go almost forgot to mention my favorite part of the night and my match of the week: Evan Karagias vs Madusa. A finely worked match than entertained millions. Looked like a broadway play or somthing but it was fantastic.
I'll try to work on all the other promised sections of the site and see if I can have it done before the end of the month. Until then, check back frequently, bye!
