The New Millennium- Grand Admiral Rigges

Greetings all, and welcome to the new Millennium. The UFoM has great things in store for the coming year. Already, the diplomacy section has been upgraded and any guilds that are no longer active have been removed. The members section has been updated to show only members that are going to be active shortly or that are already active. Zybeer and I have already had a meeting about the guild and shortly after he returns from holidays there will be a meeting of the High Council. Upon Zybeers return, he will update the intelligence section and I will assist in design and he will also redo the information section. Which basically means the entire site will shortly be updated. I will also be putting more responsibility of the site onto the High Council so we can have updates done more often. A note to any guild removed from the diplomacy section. If your site was not working at all, you will have been removed, so just contact me with information about your new location and I will put you back on our list.

Greetings all, I'm very sorry for my absence during the past few weeks and as I explained on the Msg. Board I have been incredibly busy and quite sick too. So as you can imagine the two don't mix because when I'm not busy with study I'm busy dying with some bug or another. So, I am very sorry. I am healthy again so I can resume working on the site, as for Zybeer he is also busy but it does seem he is getting more time. Don't worry, the leadership of the UFoM is by no means dead, just for a while a little sick.

Download Mankind!- Grand Admiral Rigges

Nope, it's not some scary dream. It is true, there is now a download demo version of Mankind available at http://mankind.net It's really small actually with not much you can do but it will get ya all involved and working in game a little. You can get used to controls etc. So, go check it out... it's about 17MB to download. Other news, there are updates coming to the members section soon. Zybeer and I chatted about some more order in the chain of command, so do keep your eyes on the members section. I will tell you all here when it is done. Work is still being done on translations so it's on the way, but do understand, it's a big job :)

News and updates- Grand Admiral Rigges

First of all, the good news. As most of you have probably read in the msg. board section the UFoM have had their first taste of battle and we liked it! :) Pretty much because it was such a success. Congratulations to Soulpiercer, Jopie and Zybeer for this show of strength against our enemies.

Updates. I have added our new allies to the diplomacy section and our newest member to the members information section. I would like to take this moment to welcome our newest member. Private Lefsef. More updates coming shortly. Including a voting system for the high council and more news on translations of the site. The Spanish translation is already being worked on by myself, and Jopie will shortly be working on German and French translations.

A new intelligence section - Lord Admiral Zybeer

It was some time since I updated anything but here goes :). A new section in Intelligence called "Vehicle Database" where I will write down the stats of all vehicles and show pics of them. Did you wonder what ship is the best? Look no further! What I upload today is just a small start on the section but it will grow. Build costs will also be added very soon. Mankind is still very fun to play and everything is going well inside the universe. I can only say that I hope Vibes will get that download up soon so everyone can join us in the game. Zybeer out.

The members section has been totally updated. If there is any information out of date just send me a mail with the new update. I would also like to congratulate Soulpierce on his new rank of Lance Corporal.

Updates- Grand Admiral Rigges

General Zybeer is now Fleet Admiral Zybeer and has taken the position of second in command after Sesswanna stood down from his position. The members section is not updated for now because it will undergo huge changes next weekend. A whole new ranking system is being introduced by Sesswanna so it will be ready for next weekend. Also, grettings to the new members, I'll add you to the list when the site is updated next weekend.
Other news, we had our first group meeting and discussed a few things about the guild, so Zybeer will post up more info on that soon. Thanks to all the members who showed up and for those who didn't. Don't worry, we will have many more meetings in the future.

Greetings all, I've just updated the members section a little, still more updates to be done, but this is a start. Jopie is now a Major General, so congratulations Jopie! :) I've also added a few more locations to the list and anyone else who wants a flag next to their name, just send me your location. More updates on the way!

Persistand Universe- Zybeer

The Mankind universe have been reset for the last time! I am hard at work in creating a foothold in the galaxy for the UFoM. Vibes have also included english translation which really is a bless. I have heavilly updated the Informative Questions section of the intelligence page with info that is vital in Mankind. I also included what new stuff Vibes have included in the most recent patch. The downloadable version should be avalible very soon and I hope Vibes moves fast on this cause I feel vulnerable being alone in the hostile galaxy... I will update the screenshots section soon with new thumbnails that the gracious Grand Admiral Rigges made for me. See you in Mankind.

Another Mankind update- Zybeer

Vibes have released yet another patch for Mankinds beta. They have added the first missions ever (!) and implemented many new technologies. It also seems as you now can custumize the weapons on your ships. Due to many bugs I haven´t been able to play much of this new version yet but I will keep you all posted on my progress. I have added text to the screenshots Rigges put up last week and I have more which I will put up during the weekend. I will also finish the informative question and perhaps add some more. Be sure to visit the messageboard if anyone has a game related questions. Be well.

Just put up a new page of screen shots from General Zybeer for you all to look at, no info beside them yet, just the pics, when Zybeer gets the time, he'll fill in the info. I've also formed a new alliance which will be up shortly on the diplomacy section.

New layout- Zybeer

Grand Admiral Rigges have made a very nice looking layout for my Intelligence section! It is lightyears better then the one I used and all screenshots will now load faster caused they are smaller. Not really thumbnailed but much smaller. Simply click on them to view a full sized picture. It seems as the pictures I posted yesterday did not work correctly so they have been taken off the site for now. If I make it along with studying for the technology test I will post many new pictures and perhaps even the rest of the whats new IQ later today. Stay tuned.

More SC´s- Zybeer

I have been playing the new Mankind version the whole day and learned quite a bit about the game. The new beta is very fun to play and even though it is a bit left until it is complete it will keep us Mankind players happy for a while :). There are quite alot of crashes but the good things far outweights the bad. The combat graphics are great with green and red laser beams and dual missiles! No more white meatballs! I have quite alot of new screenshots for you and a whole bunch more I wull upload some other time. In some day ahead I will finish the whats new IQ with lots of information but at the moment there is too much I do not know :(. Just keep visiting the UFoM site for a good dose of Mankind. New Mankind verison- Zybeer

Vibes have released what I belive is the beta of the final verison of Mankind. It is absolutely awesome as it introduces limited money and (for me) 3D graphics! I have updated my Intelligence section with a new IQ and three new shots for the SC. I also put up a art pic from the Vibes site which I think makes a excellent wallpaper. I met the Free Space Rangers in the system im at and I have opened up diplomatic contact with them. I had lots of questions about what the new patch had done and they helped me out a lot :). The FSR and their leader Gerdi seems to be as nice as ever. That was all for now. Count on me getting back soon and posting more news about Mankinds progress.

New section online- Zybeer

I have finished the new Intelligence page. Now very much stuff there now but it will grow... You can also find some nice screenshots there. I want to thank Grand Admiral Rigges for letting me rejoin the UFoM and I will give all I have for the guild. I am to assist Rigges with site updates, answering questions and having a finger in diplomacy as well. Anyway, I hope everyone will enjoy my section and find information that will solve their problems. Post questions on the messageboard and I will answer them in the Intelligence section. Finally I want to say "Hi" to all the members and I am very happy to be back.

The links page is now working. If anyone has suggestions for more links then mail me. The members page has been updated... each regular member is now an ensign (if you want to be a private then it's the same thing :) ). As you can all see, the counter is working again and that's about it.

More Changes- Rigges

Just a few more upgrades to the site. I have created a new section called Intelligence and it will be run by General Zybeer. Basically, he is playing the game at the moment so will provide screen shots and any question you may have, send him a mail and he will deal with them in his section. The members list is being updated, so everyone in it is being contacted if you have not been contacted already, send me a mail with details of your status, if you want info to be changed etc. Also, there are a few things wrong in the page, like the CON link not right and the links link not right, I'm just updating so I'll get them working ASAP.

Site Updates- Rigges

As you can see, the site has been updated at last. I've basically made changes to everything, so well, take a look, mainly on Diplomacy and Information sections. Also, updates to the members section include a new ICQ online status. I have replaced Sesswanna as head of the guild, he is now second in command. On the members page there is now a rank tree, created by Sesswanna and the diplomacy section is only about groups we are allied with or at war with. News on Mankind, is well, according to Vibes it is almost ready for release, but I'm not getting my hopes up until it's up for downloading. Should find out in the next few days. If anyone has seen a group which they think we should allie with, send me a mail!.
