Appeared to Commander Beverly Crusher from the
Enterprise-D in 2370. The life form took the shape of a 34 year
old human named "Ronin". He required the company of a suitable
Human female to maintain molecular cohesion. Ronin claimed to be
born in 1647 in Glasgow, Scotland.

The "Ronin" entity first found a suitable host; Jessel
Howard, and gained a powerful hypnotic control over her, giving her
emotional sustenance in return for the molecular cohesion he
needed. Ronin was passed down the Female Howard line upon the
death of each 'host' until Felisa Howard in the 24th century.
Upon her death Ronin attempted to bond with Beverly Crusher - Felisa's
grandaughter. She was able to resist him and learn his true
nature. It is presumed that the Ronin entiy has been destroyed,
although others may exist.
