| Editors Notes | Characteristics: Cold malevolence. Their only desire is to conquer. No possibilities of negotiating with them. Travel from a parallel universe using gravametric distortion fields and quantum singlarities. Thier ships are organic bio ships powered by anti-matter technology for warp propulsion. Organic conduits which carry an electro-dynamic fluid have been identified. Possibly could be an energy source. A binary matrix laced with neural peptides has been identified as a computer core. Very strong telepathic powers and agility. |
| Bio Ship Defenses: | Bio ships have the ablility to regenerate damage. Bio ships emit bio-electric field that disrupts transporter technology, preventing the sending of Borg for further information gathering. The bio-electric field prevents any scanning of their bio ships by our sensors. Borg tractor beams are unable to establish a locking hold on their bio ships. |
| Bio Ship Armament: | High energy blast. The fire power of one ship can destroy a large Borg cube. Bio ships can combine fire power by forming a circle with a number of other ships, with one ship in the center of the circle. All the ships fire at the main center ship, collecting the fire power and amplifying it out, causing enough fire power to destroy a planet. Bio ships can also connect by dissolving through the hull of an enemy ship to allow the crew to board the enemy ship. |
| Biological Info: | The cells of species 8472 are densely coded and have
more than one hundred times the amount of DNA of a humaniod cell.
They have an extrordinary immune response. Anything that enters the cell
membrane are immediately destroyed. Therefore, the Borg can't assimilate
species 8472. Species 8472 attacks with their claws in hand-to-hand
combat. If claws cut into biological skin, their cells will transfer to
the victim. These cells, once in the victim's blood, will begin to destroy
the body from the inside out. The victim will be conscious during this
process because all sedatives and other treatments to the infection are
neutralized immediately.
Testing the idea of attacking speces 8472 with modified Borg nano-probes which could attack the cells of species 8472 before the cells have a chance to destroy the nano-probes. Currently working with the Federation starship USS Voyager. |
