That is why I started this website to showcase my work. I would never showcase the entire manuscripts for fear of someone taking them and turning them into something else, but the extracts I offer to the readers are harmless and effective. They stand alone fairly well, but also leave you wanting more. An ideal combination - and there is no revealing of the plot, something vitally integral to this series. If one was to take plot away, it would be the world's most boring series.
My writing does not only include sci-fi but also contemporary fiction, historical fiction, the occasional fantasy piece and song writing. I am not nearly as prolific in terms of short fiction as I am in longer fiction - the absolute magnitude of a novel is so spell-binding that it seemingly spell-binds me every time into not wanting to write any other form.
Novels can be so much more enticing, in-depth and rewarding in the final analysis that I prefer writing them over short stories. It is also an overwhelming sense of completion that drives me day after day when I enter writing mode. A few chapters at a time, and before you know it, the book has written itself and another notch can be etched into the wall. Five books done, a few hundred to go...
