He hadn't heard Scully knock, and looked up, startled at her. Skinner looked down, back, up and blushed, as if he should be embarassed by eating a pineapple. "Agent Benton just flew back from Hawaii. It was cut just this morning,"  he explained.  His hands deftly used a pocketknife to cut a yellow spear. Cupping one hand to catch juices, he offered her a  bite off his knife. Scully ate, tasting sparkling, faraway sunshine, feeling her taste buds shout at the flavor. Juice rolled down her chin, toward her blouse, but was caught by Skinner's fingertips. "Why are there no X-Files in Hawaii?" Scully asked. Skinner brought his fingers to his lips, licking away the juice he had caught from Scully's chin. "Go find one," he said. He no longer blushed.
