"Each of you is in downtown Fort Worth, on Houston Street. It is 4:47 PM, Friday, January 1995. You are walking through Sundance Square, contemplating the evening's activities, when all Hell breaks lose. On the next block over to the West there is a huge explosion, followed by the sound of shattering glass and the sight of black smoke twisting into the frozen sky. Tandy Center is on fire and the scent of blood and death linger in the air.
"The
night is yours. It's party time!"
So began the tale of tragedy and mayhem that has led us to today. So began the Saga of Metal Gods, the stories of Pascal, Samantha and Guaius, all of whom have moved on to another plane, but have not Ascended. But then, life is so fleeting in the World of Darkness.

Gwendolyn
Norsworthy
In 1993 Gwen left her home in Houston, TX to escape the constant abuse dished out by her father. She made it as far as Fort Worth before the money ran out.
After 4 days on the streets without a meal she gave in to pressure from her street "friends" and began turning tricks for a living. At least she could afford cigarettes and a place to crash.
After a few months on the streets Gwen met another hooker named Mary Stillwell and suddenly all those mixed feelings about sex made perfect sense. The two became inseparable. Eventually they began working straight jobs as waitresses. Mary worked at Coors Bar-B-Que at night while Gwen took a job at Pizzeria Uno downtown.
Securing a small apartment on the south side of town required the occasional late night as topless dancers, and sometimes Mary would resort to stealing from tourists. This lasted until 1994.
On a dark and rainy afternoon in December, Mary, knowing that the rent was overdue, snatched a purse from an elderly couple visiting from Vermont. As she ran away from the couple, into the street, she was hit by a white Nissan Maxima driven by David Winter. In a desperate attempt to save her lover, Gwen literally willed the car off of Mary's body as her Avatar awoke. In the midst of tragedy, Gwen became a Mage.
Mary died later that evening at
Harris Methodist Hospital. Mr. Winter, an employee of the Worthington Hotel,
was not charged in the incident.

On seperate occasions, Pascal lost
both of his parents under suspicious circumstances. In both instances
a woman Dr. named Jillian Montgomery, an officer in the Canadian Royal
Navy, was present.
Kristara
Barrington
Beauty and the
Machine
Kristara, born of Korean and American parents, became interested in, and addicted to sex in her early teens. At age 18 she left her home in San Bernardino and made her way to Hollywood where she began her career as an adult film star.
"Making over 150 adult videos during her career, Kristara combined a fresh innocence and wanton attitude that made her an instant hit," said one reviewer. Her participation in the Adult Film Industry only increased her addiction.
In the summer of 1990, while driving home after doing her scenes for "Totally Anal Annie," Kristara's Acura Integra was hit by a drunk driver in a Lincoln Continental. Her car was crushed and so was she. As her Avatar awoke she pushed the twisted metal away and crawled out of the wreck. Both cars began to burn and the drunk driver was consumed in the flames.
In the fall of 1993 she was hitching a ride with a trucker. Thinking he was about to rape her she hit him with pure Forces magick, thus reducing this HIT Mark to a mindless servant who needs no food or money and takes all the jobs she can find for him (OF COURSE she kept the truck!).
Iteration X seems to have lost all contact with "John," as well as his fusion powered semi-tractor trailer rig. Kristara has wisely repainted the cab and the trailer, and has added a sleeper behind the cab.
Now Kris travels the country with
"JOHN," making lots of money with microscopic overhead. She is affiliated
with no group at this time, and is still trying desperately to find love
in the arms of strangers.
In 1991, on the occasion of her 20th birthday, she met a man named Colin McCloud and her life was changed forever.
McCloud took her as his student, teaching her his personal style of martial arts. He taught her Karate, Thai Jitsu, Ju Jitsu and Kendo and trained her until they melded into one art. Then he began to concentrate more and more on her mind.
In July of 1993 her Avatar awoke as she performed a strenuous exercise, fending off 5 large male attackers on a rocky slope in the Andies Mountain Range. She mentally disrupted their senses, causing them to lose their (collective) balance. Two of these attackers would have lost their lives as they fell off the side of the mountain if not for the timely intervention of McCloud.
Since that time, Debra has operated,
mostly on her own, as an avenger for the downtrodden in the streets of
the Metroplex. Her family knows nothing of her new life, thinking she is
simply attending school at TCU, and trying to figure out what she wants
to do in the brief period of time before she is expected to take over the
financial reins for her father.

The
Velvet Glove
The
Velvet Glove, operating out of Dallas, is charged with the task of enforcing
reality upon the Reality Deviants in the region. Led by David Sargent,
along with his second in command Dominique Sapphire, this small group of
Technomancers normally wield heavy firepower, have access to incredible
resources, and seem to always be in the midst of a skirmish with one chantry
or another. They are directly responsible for the capture or death
of several local will-workers.
This
group's affiliation with other Technocrat Constructs, if any, remains a
secret.
