Magic Characters
Like psionics, magical abilities are reasonably common
on Rifts Earth, and come in many different forms.
The most well known type of magic user is the Mage,
and person who has learned to control magical energy
through spells. These and other types of common
magic users are described below.
Ley-Line Walker
A Line Walker is a mage who concentrates their skills on
spells from the college of ley-line magic. They can
effortlessly travel along ley-lines, use the lines to
heal themselves, and see distant events on the line.
Most Line Walkers can also cast other spells, but not
as proficiently as their ley-line abilities.
