Creatures of Mars
As part of their Areforming efforts, and to hinder human forces, the Overlords
have released a variety of Martian animals into Earth's wilderness's.
They can be found worldwide (with the exceptions of islands untouched
by Martians, including Britian, New Zealand, and Japan) however they are
most common in Areformed places, such as Africa and South America.
Martian creatures tend to appear very aliens to humans. They usually
have a six-limbed body construction, and a single florescent green eye.
Skin colours tend to be reds or yellows, and no Martian creature yet
discovered has fur. The alien nature of Martian animals lends plausibility
to the idea that the common Martians are in fact human slaves taken to
Mars centuries (or even millenia) ago.

The Repagoth, otherwise known as a Martian Great-Ape, is a huge (10 feet tall) four
armed humanoid with leathery dark red skin. Like most Martian creatures it has a single bright green eye, and
three fingered hands. Its habits and behaviour are similar to that
of an Earth Gorilla. The Martians of some clans train Repagoth to serve
as guards, however they are vicious in captivity and may attack anyone
except their handlers.

Resembling a giant reptilian spider, a Xystophant is a powerful creature
that can be a danger even to armed groups. It walks on its four rear limbs,
with its two long arms adapted for catching prey, which includes creatures
of up to human size. It attacks from ambush, burying itself in the ground,
and when discovered will usually only fight injured animals. Xystophants
are solitary, and hatch from eggs.

Sometimes refered to as a Martian bat, the Kylkos is a flying reptile
with a two foot wingspan. It has four legs, and can run reasonably fast
on land. It also has a large jaw which can inflict a nasty bite. Although
not generally dangerous as individuals, a swarm of Kylkos can be deadly.
They build hives out of mud and sand, and will fight to the death to
defend it.
