British 'Defiance' type Battle-Tank (late TL5)
The first armoured human land vehicle to be constructed, tanks gave
humans a fighting chance against the Martians. Although outclassed by
Martian Fighting Machines they are still
formidable vehicles. A wall of advancing tanks can make even
Fighting Machines pause.
Although the use of armoured ground vehicles before World War I is
not historical, Defiance type tanks could have been built using late TL5
technology
