HMS Thunderchild
HMS Thunderchild (late TL5)
The Thunderchild is a late TL5 ironclad, and although warships from this period vary greatly her design can be considered typical for a modern European ironclad. Thunderchild has two turrets each with a pair of 12-inch guns and a waterline belt of 12 inch thick steel plate along her sides. The bow, stern and superstructure and less well protected, with merely 5 inch plate.
Thunderchild is a historically accurate late TL5 ironclad, loosely based around the real warship HMS Inflexible.
