Me
BohnanzaAl's: Needed a game that could handle 7 people so we picked Bohnanza. Al's munchkin needed some attention so he bailed out after the first round. Rich and Chris with a dead even tie.
Rich and Chris (14), Dimitri (13), Tofu (13), Dave (12), Me (10)
Carcassone: Hunter and GatherersAl's: New game to all but me. Maria snagged forest fire and had a great meadow going. Roberto was able to hook it up to his and create a monster meadow for 34 points! Chris got Stonehenge and used it to take over my meadow.
Roberto (90), Maria (89), Chris (88), Dave (74), Me (71)

Mystery Rummy 1: Jack the RipperLunch Time: Went to Tweeds for lunch. We played a three player game of MR1. I was ahead until Craig played the Commissioner Resigns card, which forced me to play my four victims out. Craig later played the last victim won the hand by playing The Ripper Escapes card.
Criag (74), Dimitri (68), Me (67)
Purchase:Vinci been playing this online, so I figured I have this for real.
Puerto RicoB20: Kyle went for the Factory strategy, Campbell went Corn Shipper and I went builder.
Kyle (57), Me (51), Campbell(44)
Can't StopB20: Rich, Campbell, Kyle and I played this dice rolling game. Played it a little too aggressive and blew it while trying to lockout the 6th column.
Campbell
Modern ArtB20: Chris has been dying to play this game. He finally got his opportunity. Once again, I overbid for works and sold low. Arggh. Initially, the bids drove Kyle crazy cause he couldn't see the logic behind it. There was no logic; Vitas and I just didn't know how to bid.
Kyle (484), Rich (383), Dave(340), Chris (323), Vitas (254), Me (198)
Titan the ArenaB20: Another game on Chris's wanna play list. We could only get three players since everyone else went to play Puerto Rico or something. Chris and I made correct secret bids but I lost my first round bid which was the difference in the game.
Chris(14), Me (10), Rich (7)
Taj MahalB20: Joe and Mikes first game. Joe picked up the yellow (+2 vp) bonus card and kept it for 6 six rounds. Rich went for the Elephant strategy. I had a chain of 6 provinces at the end of the game which allowed me to pass Mike and Chris in VPs.
Rich (50), Joe (47), Me (35), Mike (33), Chris (31)
Union PacificB20: Broke in my game, which I had bought last month. Joe got 1st in UP shares and had his fingers in the Red and Green railroads, which assured his victory. I had 2nd in UP shares and had my fingers in Purple and Black. Rich was tie for third in UP shares but had his fingers in a bunch of railroads (Red, Yellow, White, Blue)
Joe (107), Rich (97), Me (90), Mike (71), Chris (67), Dave (66)

Puerto RicoBSW: Went online to play Settler of Catan on BSW but the interface was so non intuitive that we gave up. Heiner suggested Puerto Rico. Heiner didn't know anything about it, he had just heard about it. It was hard to explain the game online but we kind of got thru it. Dimitir was a money god. At one point he had 20 gold. He and I both built two large buildings. Game ended when Dimitri filled his building region.
Dimitri (54), Me (48), Heiner(28)

Call My BluffSOG: My first attendance to the Suburban Outcast Gamers group, otherwise known as SOG. I arrived early to Chris house follow by Vitas, Chip, Mark and Lewis. First game of the night is one of Chris's favorites, Bluff.
Mark
Kill Dr LuckySOG: Mark, Chris and I wanted to play Kill Dr Lucky. My first play. Fun game in which you try to position yourself to be alone with Dr Lucky so you can kill him. Killing Dr Lucky isn't that easy because everyone else has cards that can foil your attempts to kill him. The winner of the game is the first person to Kill Dr Lucky.
Chris makes the kill
MediciSOG: Another Bidding game by Knizia. Unlike Modern Art this has only one style of bidding, Once a Round.
Chris (81), Vitas (79), Marcus (74), Mark (43), Lewis (43), Me (37)
6 NimmtSOG: Trick taking card game with the object is to take the least number of Bull Heads if any. First play to reach 100 points ends the game. The winner is the one with the least points.
Me (37), Chris (47), Lewis (50), Marcus (61), Mark (115)

Settlers of Catan: City and KnightsOnline: Helen and I lost our cities to the initial barbarian wave. Helen went for the monopoly strategy by grabbing a wheat port and settled grain hexes. Lloyd got the longest road and a Metro to beat us.
Lloyd (13), Helen (10), John (8), Me (6)
11th
CarcassonneBSW: Went to BSW for a lunch game. Got into a three player game of carcassonne. ShiningAndy was a stealer. He kept busting into my cities and it worked for one and the other I was able to shut him out. I was able to bet out Konsti on the farmer war, getting a 30 meadow for the victory.
Me (91), ShiningAndy (84), Konsti (70)
Puerto RicoBSW: Heiner is now hooked on PR. Positions were Heiner, Dimitri, Me. I went for Tobacco as my initial product for money and shipping. After that I began picking up corn plantations, built the harbor/wharf combo and finished it off with the Customhouse. Score 36 points in shipping alone. Heiner too went for the corn shipping strategy but the shipping never went his way. Dimitri went for coffee as his cash crop and indigo for the bulk shipping. He picked up the harbor and two big buildings (Residence and Fortress). Game ended when Dimitri filled his building area.
me(61), Dimitri(50), Heiner(24)

Purchase: Finally received my three dollar auction win, Halunken und Spelunken.
Wyatt EarpLunch Time: Craig had an outstanding first hand, getting 10 more point than everyone else. Dimitri finished strong in the second hand but Criag coasted into victory in the third hand.
Craig (27), Dimitri (22), Me (17)
Carcassone: Hunter and GatherersDanger Planet: Initial game of the night. Cindy, Karl and I were gonna start but then Chris and Vitas show up. I snagged two large meadows and was unopposed. Vitas had some bad draws and placements.
Me (105), Karl (75), Chris (71), Cindy (70), Vitas(57)
ShogunDanger Planet: Chris and I had promised to play shogun with vitas. We roped in Cindy and Tom. This is one long game, first turn took 2 hours (included instructions to three newbies). Vitas got hammered in the second turn losing two of his armies to different attackers and Cindy had to catch a bus, so we called it.
Terminated during the second turn
EntdeckerDanger Planet: Everyone was leaving so Vitas and I were gonna play the new version of Entdecker. Chris was gonna leave but he didn't get enough gaming in, so he stayed for this one. I was always short on money forcing me to roll for cash, making Vitas a very rich man.
Vitas(112), Me (97), Chris (51),

Trans AmericaLunch Time: Went to Uno's for a beer and game. The manager came over to see what we were doing. Game ended after the sixth hand.
Me (9), Dimitri (4), Craig (-4)
Carcassone: Hunter and GatherersExtended lunch time: Very close game with all of us being with in 10 points of each other during the course of the game. I finished plenty of forest and got the forest fire for my meadow. Looked like I had a large meadow (22 vps) but Dimitri was 8 points bigger. Craig got a 14 vp fishing hut while Dimitir and I shared an 11 pointer. Squeaked out a win.
Me (126), Craig (124), Dimitri (112)
Can't StopB20: The night started with a game of Can't Stop with Campbell, Ben, Kid and I.
Campbell
Show ManagerB20: Started off by producing a average Wolf production, which was used to get extra money. They rest of my show were also average, so was my score.
Terry (45), Andrew (42), Kyle (42), Me (36), Dave L (26), Nick (24)
Carcassone: Hunter and GatherersB20: First play for Andrew, Terry and Dave L. Andrew seem to get the hand of it pretty quick. Finishing forest when he could to place the extra tile. Terry beat Andrew and I on a fishing hut battler. I got a nice 22 pt hunter meadow.
Andrew (89), Me (82), Terry (81), Ben (76), Dave L (39)
Moderne ZeitenB20: First play for Rich, Ben and I. Interesting stock game. You try to get vps by dominating in cities or stock positions. I tied in two of the highest categories but all for naught because all ties are worth 1 point. Enjoyed it, the player's tokens are blimps.
Rich (18), Scott (16), Ben (9), Me (2)

Settlers of CatanSOW: Went to the inaugural session of Settlers of Watertown. The first game of course had to be Settlers. The ore situation looked nasty, all three ore on the same coast with 12, 11 and 9. The rolls in this game were just plain weird, heavy on 5 and 9s. Constantine won by getting largest army, build a settlement and upgrading to a city immediately. Dan had a VP card. Richard has the longest road.
Constantine (11), Dan (8), Richard (7), Me (6)
Puerto RicoSOW: Positions Me, Constantine, Suzzanne, Richard, Dan. I hate going first. I started off my building a small market and small indigo plant. I was able to get the coffee roaster going but I somehow got out of sync with the rest of the players. I had lots of spoilage and never got to sell much. Was forced to take the prospector alot and by the time I had enough money all the big buildings were gone. Richard had two buildings and everyone else one.
Richard (68), Constantine (55), Suzanne (49), Dan (44), Me (42)
Risk: Lord of the RingsSOW: Broke in Constantine game. First play for Suzanne and Campbell. I got lucky and got three of the six fortresses as my initial draw. My strategy was to hold the strongholds and tried to acquire more. I was able to get more but lost them in end game turns. Game ended on Suzanne's turn.
Me (29), Suzanne (26), Constantine (18), Campbell (10)
Puerto RicoBSW: Played on BSW.
Me (42),Dim (36), Heiner (20)

Halunken & SpelunkenAl's: Introduced H&S to Al and the gang. Don't think they liked it much.
Al (86), Me (84), Rich (84), Maria (44)
Settlers of CatanAl's: One lucky game for me, all rolls going my way. I was able to upgrade my settlements to cities quickly. After that it was a matter of expanding and growing. Maria and Rich were not as lucky.
Me (10), Al (7), Rich (4), Maria (3)
Call My BluffAl's: Chris showed up and it was time for Bluff.
Game 1: Chris
Game 2: Rich
Game 3: Me
Game 4: Me
CarcassonneAl's: After four game for Bluff it was off to the land of carcassonne. Chris scored a huge 48 point cathedral. I think there was a big battle for it.
Chris (112), Rich(79), Maria (76), Al (73), Me (57)
Trans AmericaAl's: Roberto and Dimitri finally showed up and Maria left to pickup the kiddies. We broke in Dimitri's copy of Trans America. It appears it wasn't Roberto's day for Trans America, since he lost both of them
Game 1: Rich (8), Me (6), Chris (6), Dimitri (5), Al (5), Roberto (-1)
Game 2: Dimitri (12), Me (8), Al (7), Rich (6), Chris (5), Roberto (0)
RoborallyAl's: Three Flag race on Cannery Row and the Flood Zone with no options, it was Dimitri's first play. Maria got out to a flying start. I made a bad program and fell into a pit. Dimitri did well but he got bad cards while in the Flood Zone.
Maria, Chris, Roberto, Al, Dimitri, Rich, Me
VinciAl's: Broke in the cardboard version of my favorite Play by Web game. Sadly it didn't seem to be as much fun as it is on the web. I guess it's all that game upkeep that's done automatically on the web site.
Maria (153), Roberto (152), Me (140)

Fische Fluppen FrikadellenMVGA: First play for all of us. The objective is to get three fetishes. This is done by trading a collection of items for a fetish. The items can be bought/traded from merchants/traders. Visiting a merchant/trade can cause effects on production of or change the value of items. Dan and Paul felt it was broken. I think it mainly bad initial placement of the merchants. This game might be more suited for the three board version.
Anton (3), Walter (2), Dan (2), Me (1), Paul (0)
Abenteuer MenschheitMVGA: New game by Klaus Teuber and it looks like Settlers. Each player starts with two camps and one nomad in Africa. Europe, Asia, Austria and the Americas are populated with people chips. Camps can produce four items (ala SOC settlements), Hides, Meat, Bones and Flint. There also four technology trees that player can advance on. First player to reach the final spot gets a vp. Nomads are used get exploration chip and build new camps. Exploration chips can give the player bonus points, make a tile in Africa turn into desert. etc. There are only five camp available to each player so the sixth camp removes one camp in play, usually from Africa due to desertification. Victory points are received by building new camps, having the most chips, getting 1 of each peoples. First player to 10 wins.
Paul (10), Walter (7), Me (6)
Call My BluffMVGA: My last game of the night. Rich is a very good player.
Rich, Paul, Walter, Me , Dan

TriasB20: Played new game Trias, I liked it the instant I saw it, it had Hexagons. Gotta love a game with hexagons and I enjoyed the game. Each turn a hexagon must drift away from the southpole, hex determined by a card from your hand or from the draw pile. After the mandatory drift, a player has 4 action points. Drift a any hex (3 pts), Move a dino one hex (1 pt), Add new dino (1 pt), rescue 3 dinos (1 pts). Points are scored when the island count increases during the turn. Two pts for player with the most dinos, 1 pt for 2nd most. When the comet card is drawn the game ends. Each island scores (except the southpole) the size (hexes) of the island for first, half points for second.
Campbell (24), Terry (21), Adam (18), Dave L (14), Me (10)
Fist of DragonstonesB20: I wasn't too thrilled about playing FoD since it was probably just a rehash of Citadels but after playing it I liked it better than Citadels. It is similar to Citadels in that there are character cards with special powers but they made it a blind bidding game. Each player starts with 4 random stones, 8 fairy gold, 2 common gold and 5 silver pieces. At the start of every turn every player refills his pile up to 8 fairy gold. For some odd reason I had an easier time bidding in this game. Each turn two special characters are shuffled with the 8 regular (Magician, Sorcerer, Thief, Witch, Wizard, and dragons (Red,Yellow,Blue) characters and are auctioned one at time with gold. Silver is used on ties. All gold/silver used in bids are lost even if you didn't win. The Witch is always first since she gives the winner the ability to stop one character auction. The winner of the thief allows you steal a stone from the second highest bidder. The dragons give you stones and the other characters allow you to exchange stones for victory points. First player to three vps wins.
Terry (3), Me (2), Adam (1), Campbell (1), Dave L (0)
Wyatt EarpB20: Decided to cut out early so this was my last game of the night. Sue started out strong scoring 15 pts after the first hand. Rich hosed me at the end by placing a hideout on an outlaw that I alone held.
Rich (26), Sue (25), Adam (22), Me (19)

Carcassonne Hunters and GatherersXAIC: Game night at my place. Broke in Annette's game. First play for Annette and Matt. Don't remember much but the score says close game.
Ilise (70), John (68), Matt (67), Annette (66), Me (61)
Settlers of CatanXAIC: Next game was a 5 player game of SOC. Increased hand limit for robber by 2 cards, which is better than the extra build phase. I started my two cities on two six tiles but the early rolls were not there. Concentrated on get dev cards. Ilise was on a roll. About half way through the game my rolls started to show up and I almost beat Ilise to 10 pts. Ilise won with longest road, three cities and two settlements.
Ilise (10), Me (9), Matt (7), Annette (6), John (4)
Call My BluffXAIC: John was curious about this game. He had seen that I've been play this game alot. This turned out to be Annette's game.
Game 1: Annette, John, Me, Matt, John
Game 2: Annette. Me, Ilise, John, Matt
Game 3: John, Me, John, Ilise, Annette
Halunken & SpelunkenXAIC: Ilise and John had to leave for a few hours. Figured they might like this quick simple game.
Annette (114), Matt (87), Me (87)
Me (105), Matt (75), Annette (60)
Big CityXAIC: Played this fun three player game. Annette placed the city hall rather early in the game. I was able to score a two churches but the big score was Matt with a mall.
Matt (106), Annette (89), Me (87)
VinciXAIC: Figured Matt might like this game, which he did. The game was very balanced until the end game in which Annette got one of those mega scoring civs.
Annette (155), Matt (143), Me (122)
Puerto RicoXAIC: Starting order Me, Matt, John, Ilise, Annette. I hate going first. Went heavy on indigo for shipping and coffee for money. Also picked up three quarries to reduce building cost. It wasn't enough to counter Ilise, who played a strong factory strategy.
Ilise (59), Me (43), Matt (40), Annette (41), John (27)
Money!XAIC: Finally game of the night. Played only two hands.
John (1110), Ilise (860), Me (760), Annette (610), Matt (500)

CarcassonneAl's: Two 36 point cathedral cities, Dimitri by himself and the others shared. Steve started out heavy in farming and was able to dominate all cities except for four of them.

Drake And DrakeDanger Planet: Played this 2-player pirate themed game. Each turn player simultaneously play 4 points worth of cards from your hand of eight. Yellow cards, which are pirate placement cards, are worth 1 pt and orange cards, which are effects, are worth 2 pts. The cards are number so the cards are play in ascending order. Pirates can be place any were on land squares, which may have treasure (+50vps) or rum (+30vps). Effects can eliminate an adjacent pirate, steal an adjacent pirate, prevent other effects, etc. At the end of the turn each player refills to 8 cards. Game ends when all land squares are filled. Scoring: Calculate the size of the each continuous pirate cluster, bigger is better. Add bonuses for treasure and rum for points
Karl (445), Me (275)
Labyrinth Card GameDanger Planet: Looking like a lite gamenight at Danger Planet. Karl had Labryinth, which I have been wanting to play. It is a tile laying game, my favorite. If a tile placed can trace a path to an identical object, the player can take the card if it leaves the maze intact. Player with the most cards wins. Okay game, luck dependent not much strategy.
Karl (19), Cindy (14), Me (11)
BohnanzaDanger Planet: Still no players and Karled wanted to play Bohnanza. Dimitri showed up about half way thru the game.
Karl (28), Cindy (28),Me (24)
Trans AmericaDanger Planet: Wow I lost every hand. Game end after three rounds.
Karl (10), Cindy (8), Dimitri (4), Me (-5)
EVODanger Planet: Jimmie was up for a game of EVO, Karl wasn't. This was Cindy's first EVO play. I got horns during the first two turns so I became a hunting dino. I attacked several of Jimmie's dino and a few of Dimitri. Had no contact with Cindy's dinos. Cindy's dino were egg-laying machine. Jimmie's dino were in heavy on protection and Dimitri's were balanced. Dimitri pulled out a 2-pt bonus card at the end to snatch Victory from Jimmie, much to his dismay.
Dimitri(53), Jimmie(52) Cindy (49),Me (48)

NubaAdv Civ Night: Sean was the first to arrive for the CIV game. He brought in his boxes of games and I noticed this Reiner game. Simple enough. Each player gets 10 Token numbered 1-9 and one labeled X. The board is a 5x6 grid. The tokens are set up in two rows opposite each other one at a time. A token can move forward or diagonally left/right. A token can take a token only if its value is lower than the others value. The X can take or be taken by another. When a token reaches the other end of the board it is placed on the exit area. Winner is the player with highest token on the exit area. The X token exits that player wins automatically.
Me by moving my X token to the exit area.
CapitolAdv Civ Night: This is a building game set in Ancient Rome. There are four rounds to the game. Each round is composed of three phases. Building, Auction, Scoring and draw phase. During the Building phase players can use floor (2 floors) and Roof (1 roof) to build a building. Permit are used to place completed buildings in one of nine regions. After every player has passed, players will do blind bidding for 2 fountains and a special building. After the auction the player with the most floors in a region will score 2 points plus number of fountains. The player with the second most will score number of fountains.
Sean, Me, Vitas
Advanced CivilizationAdv Civ Night: Finally got our monster game going. Sean was Egypt, Chris (Assyria), Vitas (Asia) and I was Babylon. First look I knew Egypt was gonna win. It was relatively isolated, meanwhile the rest of us were fight for territory from the start. My crippling move was not to expand into my areas quick enough. At best I had 5 cities sites to build on. There was plenty of mayhem, the funniest being the barbarian hordes that Chris got twice. Since Chris didn't have his starting regions anymore, the rules stated that they enter through an unoccupied starting region, which happened to be Egypt. So Assyria got the Hordes but Egypt to the beating. Called the game in the Late Bronze age.
Sean (1993), Chris (1961), Vitas (1712), Me (1398)
Illuminati: Deluxe Edition Adv Civ Night: Chris left but Sean and Vitas wanted to play another game. I was the Discordian Society, Vitas was the Network and Sean the UFOs. I had four of the five weird groups I needed, my structure had Vampires, SMOF, and Druids. Sean had 7 of the 10 alignments that he needed. He drew MicroStuff, which had the 3 alignments that he needed to win. Vitas and I tossed all of our money to prevent the acquisition. but we failed.
