Here you will find basic information about the current status of events within the game.

• It is the beginning of the school year, one year before the presidential election.
• Mutants are public knowledge, they are feared by most
• The X-men and Brotherhood have existed as small forces for about ten years.
• The X-men and Brotherhood have run missions for their causes for about seven years. There have been brief encounters with eachother, but nothing decisive.
• Neither the X-men and Brotherhood have become public knowledge yet.
• The Xavier Institute and Lenscherr Academy were founded, both in New York State, seven years ago.
• There numbers have been small until a surge in recruitment three years ago
• Neither school knows about the other one
• Robert Kelly was elected into the Washington senate three years ago. He has used his anti-mutant platform to gain high amounts of power and support.
• Senator Kelly has announced his bid for President
• Senator Kelly has ushered in a Mutant Registration Act, calling for all mutants to have their names, locations, and powers listed in a public database.
• This act is approaching it's first senate vote.
• The RPG has not started yet, so there are no advancements in characters, and all hold true to their character bio's.
