Attributes: Strength- 2(human) Intelligence- 3(exceptional human) Stamina- 2(human) Speed- 3(exceptional human) Fighting ability- 4(human limitations) Mutant: Invisibility- 5 (special) Power Description, Workings, & Limitations: Shyla Moore has the curious talent to go undetected by anything other than the basic five senses. Any electronic device will simply ignore her presence, and she will not show up on any known method of recording. She is also invisible to telepathy, unless the psychic is certain of her current location, or she makes herself psychically visible. This ability extends to anything within a milimeter of her skin. This ability is both a blessing and a curse, for it is continually active. She cannot use many devices, such as phones, even if she wants to. The only exception is her ability to make herself psychically visible by, in effect, shouting, which will alert any nearby psychics to her presence. Skills(list only): Shyla is a master of espionage, and her skills are in no way limited to her mutant powers. She is able to sneak past guards without being seen or heard, and her computer skills allow her to bypass many security systems that would otherwise bar her entry. Shyla has also trained for many years in martial arts, and is a formidable opponent. Additionally, she is a talented actress, having picked up the art of theater at a young age. History: Shyla Moore was going to be one of the greatest child actresses in all of history, according to her mother, at least. While the only available demonstrations of her skills are old commercials, I have to admit that the child had potential. However, it was not to be. At the age of 7, she was to start on her first movie. Unfortunately, a few weeks into shooting, her mutant powers manifested. Her mother panicked. She had once been an actress herself but failed to make it into any noteworthy works, and I believe she saw her daughter as her redemption. She proceeded to apply layer over layer of makeup to Shyla's face, hoping to make her visible to the camera again, ignoring her daughter's protests. Shyla ran away from the studio later that day, where she encountered me. She has been my doting pupil ever since. Personality: Shyla's resentment for humanity is based on her feelings of betrayal. Her entire life had been leading to her movie premier, which was suddenly snatched away from her. What lingers in her mind, though, was the utter lack of sympathy she recieved from those around her, her mother in particular. I took advantage of this, showing her that I alone understood her. As a result, Shyla is completely infatuated with me, and trusts meimplicitly. This trust extends, with varying degrees, to other mutants, but never to humans. She is very friendly and outgoing to people she knows, but becomes hostile and aggressive when in the presence of strangers. Similarly, her jovial nature turns deadly serious when confronted with work, be it futhering the goals of the Brotherhood, or acting in the Lenscherr School plays. Relationship with Teachers: Eric Lenscherr: Shy is one of my most adept pupils, and as a result, I do not need to spend as much time working with her on her abilities as I do with some of my younger students. She chaffes at the lack of attention, but I believe this will only make her shine more when she joins the White Team. Raven Darkholme: Raven and Shy have never gotten along with each other. I think Shy sees Mystique as competition for my attention, much as a daughter may look upon a stepmother, and Mystique responds to Shy's hostility with her own. Emma Frost: If there is enmity between Emma and Shyla, it is on Emma's side. I believe she resents Shy's natural defense towards psychic abilities. Shy remains relatively unaware of this, however, as the two rarely cross paths. Mortimer Toynbee: Shyla gets along surprisingly well with this misformed mutant. Perhaps she seems him as a Phantom of the Opera type character, for she is quick to go to him for advice. Victor Creed: Shy's relationship with Sabretooth is more professional. Sabretooth trains her in martial arts, which give her a fighting chance against mutants with more combat-oriented powers. St. John Allerdyce: I do not believe it would be possible for Shy to harbor ill feelings towards Pyro, for he is in charge of the drama club, which she loves so much. As a result, she is very obedient towards him, and does her best to excel in his classes.
